The UI looks like a poor man's Persona (5) imitation.

Job listing suggests Ace Combat 04, 5, and Zero remasters in development
Ace Combat collection incoming?

A job listing seeking “someone with consumer game project management experience” for “director assistance / planner support” at a software quality assurance company on Japanese jobs website Mid-Tenshoku may suggest remastered re-releases of Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War are in development.
Here is a snippet from the listing:
Requirements
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 15 people for a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One multiplatform project, or equivalent debugging management experience.
  • Someone who can understand the client’s intentions and communicate well.
  • Someone who can keep up attendance.
Preferred
Someone with deep knowledge of the PS2 titles Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War. (For example, someone who can have a discussion such as, ‘the content of mission [blank] in Ace Combat 04 was like this,’ ‘it was / is cleared like this,’ etc.)

Hope this sells wells.

DQ is perhaps the only classic JRPG franchise that have yet to go full westards (Final Fantasy), mobage cash cow (every SE franchises), shadows of its former self (Tales, Star Ocean), or stop being made at all.

Arc System Works to announce new, seemingly RPG project on April 1

Arc System Works has opened a teaser website for a mysterious new game.

While title and genre of the game are currently unannounced (that is, according to Arc System Works’ official blog post), the teaser website hints at the genre being an RPG. (The URL contains “rpg_project” and the website itself currently reads, “○○○○○○○○○○○RPG.”)

Arc System Works will fully announce the title during an “Arc Live 24-Hour Special: The World” broadcast at 0:00 JST on April 1. It will be live streamed on Twitch and Niconico.

(Editor’s Note: Considering this game will be announced on April 1, it is very possible there is no game at all and it is an April Fool’s Day joke from Arc System Works. That being said, we will find out for sure when the day comes.)

And it is... a dungeon RPG: https://gematsu.com/2018/04/arc-system-works-announces-dungeon-rpg-wizards-symphony-for-ps4-switch

The RPG project Arc System Works teased earlier this week is dungeon RPG Wizard’s Symphony for PlayStation 4 and Switch, the company announced. It will launch in Japan in 2018.

Wizard’s Symphony derives from a classic Arc System Works series called Wizard’s Harmony. First launched in 1995 for PlayStation and Sega Saturn, Wizard’s Harmony is an adventure and training simulation game set in a fantasy world of swords and magic. It was followed up by Wizard’s Harmony 2 in 1997, Wizard’s Harmony R in 1998, and Wizard’s Harmony Reprint in 1999.

Character design for Wizard’s Symphony is being handled by Moo, who previously did character designs for Wizard’s Harmony.

Nobunaga's Ambition: Taishi coming west for PC and PS4 in June (5th in NA, 8th in EU):

I see Japanese and Chinese gamers on Steam are not very impressed about this game.

XSEED's newly announced lineup doesn't have RPG, but has an interesting PC port:

Other games in the lineup:
  • Senran Kagura Reflexions (Switch) - Summer
  • Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal (PC, PS4) - Fall
  • Fate/Extella Link (PS4, Vita) - Winter
