I'm surprised at how in-stride Angartyr is taking all this new stuff. Whatever, give us MOAR!
Also, this being a Cassidy CYOA, we kinda must visit Serbia with Freyjanna and do some Kebab removal down the line.

Kebab removal.

It is possible to prevent the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire altogether in the first place, plus Constantinople is the closest geographically known and relatively safe to visit location to China Freyjanna knows, and like previously mentioned, the first step to commit to that previously voted for choice to focus on exotic weapons and siege engines for the armies of Vinland is to visit China, manage to gain access to some inventions there still near totally obscure in the West, giving crafts like a repeating crossbow, gunpowder and the Chinese weapons using, like a simpler predecessor to the Hwacha, to the prosperous but hard-working Diogenes of Constantinople who still is alive and active in trying new and improving his old invention. Then, depending on how successful the study of gunpowder goes, Vinland may have firearms practical enough to justify the replacement of conventional slow-loading crossbows with them one or two centuries earlier than Europe, and even if not, repeating crossbows will be useful, specially against hostile natives.

In any case, it may be wise to try getting Alexis, the equally undying but doomed to decay into dust leader of the Remnants of Caesarea who is at Constantinople at the point, to accompany Freyjanna in something like a journey to China, and it may be hard to convince him before the Roman Empire is in a relatively good shape compared to the situation it historically was like in 1063

This is quite accurate for what happened in Freyjanna's world. Not much diverged yet in Europe besides pagan united Scandinavia, William of Normandy launching his Papal-sanctioned invasion of England a few years sooner and Vikings conquering Lisbon in Portugal.

B, don't want to get greedy yet
B, don't want to get very greedy yet
B, every deal with a dark god so far has bitten us in the ass
B>A, gunpowder would be quite useful against Medieval armies.
D>A, went through the trouble of binding her, might as well keep her, failing that kill her

We are no friend of Rome's already. May a well strike a blow for Orthodoxy while we are here. It should also help to convince Alexis to come with us.

Hmmm, First impressions.

1. D>A

We don't want Alexis and the Remnants to fall, that would crush the morale of the defenders, at the same time we might be of more use on the front lines especially if we choose to drink blood to keep our self in good fighting shape. Might flop these around as the first line would probably benefit from our presence.

Not sure about the other options as none of them are things we excel at.

2. B

And I hate myself for it but the guy that carries the flamethrower always blows up.

3. A

We need every advantage we can get, SAN points be damned. Though if we stick with Alexis B might be a better choice. Not sure really.

4. E

He has some experience with pole arms and could help strengthen our secondary line as he is a veteran.

5. C>B

Arming the non combatants in a secondary role worked well in Sweden though it might be better to go with B if the Christians really can't handle women fighting and dying.
