On amiga 500+. I was kid back then and I couldn't even read so I don't have to say that I didn't had a slightest idea what to do in those games.

I really don't remember my first RPG so I'll just put the first one I remember spending a long time playing:

A huge improvement....

Then I went on to play LOTR VOl1, Ultima Underworld, and Ultima VII... And the rest is history.

Came as a free game with my second PC (don't remember what model etc.) on a snazzy CD. The ability to move almost everything around (including stuff in your packs), own a wagon and a ship, really made me wanna jizz but I was too young then. Second one was Dark Sun 2: Wake of the Ravager, then I think it was either Might and Magic 6 or Heroes of Jin Yong.

Before that on my first PC I played stuff from diskettes like some weird chess-like game that had devilish monsters vs angelic creatures, Blizzard's Lost Vikings, and various adventure games (I think Monkey Island was one of them).

AM I OLDSKOOL ENUF FOR U CODEX?

I think that I was 8 or 9 years old when I played this. And I didn't see this screen until many years later. ;)

The fact that you chose Ultima first instead of Dark Sun or M&M shows that you are a fucking larper :rpgcodex:

What is with this releasing an unfinished game and finishing it with DLC bullshit. :x

Amstrad CPC probably was one of the worst platforms considering rpgs back then while the c64 fags got the ultimas and such.

It hardly qualifies as an RPG, but I remember killing the same enemies over and over in the same location to get the best stuff in the game. Sweet memories.

Baldur's Gate, when I finally got a PC.
