planescape in widescreen on mac?

hello codexians,

sincere apologies if this has been asked before. GOG just recently released a wineskin wrap of planescape: tormizzle for mac, which I have finally been able to start playing. I looked into bigg's widescreen mod but it seems to offer no mac support. are there any alternatives so I can see what the planes look like from further away? if not, I'll continue killing berks while staring at the pixelated, loincloth'd butt of my nameless hero.

Is there a manual install for the widescreen mod? That is, can you place files where it tells you to place them?

I'll look through the readme again but I didn't see any kind of mac help

I think I may have found a solution on a mac forum... trying it now.

ehh, these solutions look a couple years old and don't seem to quite fit what's happening with my wine wrapper... I'm kind of scared to muck around and corrupt the app.

I set up PS:T on my GF's Macbook Air successfully following the googleable instructions. The biggest problem were the crashes, but I managed to get past them as well somehow... Again, simply by googling and trial and error.
