I love the multi-class naming thing. Hope they come up with creative titles for hybrids.
Me too, I'm really excited to see what names they come up for the more exotic combinations. Like, what is conceptually a Paladin/Rogue? Or what differentiates a Priest/Ranger from a Druid?

I also think that this is a great feature to have with the level being reset at one, because it allows for more experienced players to still have new playstyles for the sequel.

Well, a Paladin/Rogue is clearly a "Dark Knight"; I'm not sure what to do with Priest/Ranger since "Franciscan" doesn't really fit into the setting, perhaps "Galawainite"?

Maybe a Black Guard, but less pure evil because the PoE setting is too bland for actual implementation of alignments
I would interpret a Blackguard more as a dark Paladin order than a Paladin/Rogue. I don't see what makes a Blackguard good at what Rogues excel at: lock-picking and traps.

Rogues don't have any particular claim on those mechanics in POE - anyone can take Mechanics as their skill.

From a role-playing perspective, it does make sense to make the rogue the "trap arming & disarming" character, and they get several talents that benefit from stealth.

Glad to see that Josh won't let single class characters suffer. I've always preferred them over multi-class. Always bothered me how single-class fighters got the short end in the infinity-engine games, because conceptually warriors and berserkers are always my favourite classes.
