The Mech Arms allow the Technician not only to heal injured team mates, but also to repair damaged limbs.
WTF?
What's with the reaction? We've been told this since before the first demo where the Technician should have been.

Dammit, looks like PanteraNera managed to edit his post while I made mine (or 10 minutes after it, by the timestamp, actually), I distinctly remember seeing no trace of the blog post there when I checked the thread before posting.

- vehicles will have unlimited ammo (will be limited in later builds)
Good to know it'll be limited later, the unlimited ammo looked very much out of place there.

Well I had edited it once I realized that the images I originally posted were from a dev-blog.
Than your post popped up ;)
Than I edited the additional info from discord.

Well infantry weapons had been unlimited in the first builds as well, so no surprise.

Well to be fair it was a WTF moment for me as well.
I had also expected the technician to be limited to field-repairs and other technical stuff.
But he can also heal which is medical.

Maybe they should rename it to Support-Class.

They've been saying this about the Technician all the time, though. Even this very thread should have multiple mentions of the healing abilities, especially whenever anyone has asked about repairing limb damage.

Yeah, even it being 3x3 makes the proportion all wrong.. Honestly it looks like a scout buggy for 2 people, not APC for 4+.
It looks like 4 can fit, but they would not enjoy longer rides inside it packed like sardines.

Well since Armadillo is on topic, first thing that came into my mind when I saw these animation was "Straight out of a comic".
Notice how the car shocks back and than drives forward. It's like Roadrunner was an source of inspiration.
Also notice how the engine room armors up and the bumper comes up. Why?
Nice touch is that the turret rotates backwards!

This car is nuts, but i like it! i like small cars, like me :)
Oh ... ohhhh ... so ... you are ... one of them? You identify as a "small car"?
I would be more of an "Attack Helicopter" myself, but I am not into that stuff, so I am just a man (I know that is consider pretty old-school these days, but well, I am older)

Here I have something for you, maybe it hits your kink:

I missed that. They explicitly said that the Technician would have healed crippled limbs? Can you please point me to the original official source?

Technician is interesting. So we have larger squads and tech/medic/support unit that can actually defend himself, which in practice could mean less micro between different units but more tactical options.

Only downside I see is that there's no mention of drones which imo should be part of the arsenal instead of sending soldiers for doing recon work.

Vessel appears to work alright with their art design.

Synedrion will have drones. (so will the player, if you team up with them or steal from them)
Also do not forget all the current stuff is New Jericho. This is not the player faction. You can team up with them (or steal from them) to get their tech thought.

Uhm, what?

At work right now, so I can't check the video to give you the true official source, but there's this article from February, for example:

Finally, the technician can set an automated turret to do the dirty work for them, and a robotic arm that allows them to heal injuries, repair and hack.

There are two types of healing in the game. The regular one restores health points and brings your troops further away from death. The healing of injuries can only be done by special means (like the technician’s robotic arm), and it removes statuses like bleeding, fixes up disabled limbs and similar.

Thank you, as I said I missed that specific information. Still, the fact remains that I find this ability questionable at best.
