<p>Remember that kid who lived in your neighborhood with that awesome plastic dinosaur collection? It looks like he grew up and made his own RTS, ParaWorld. Worthplaying has a preview that gives a little more detail about one of the game's features, the Army Controller.</p><blockquote><p>There are a few ways in which this can be used to your advantage. If you want to know what your workers are doing, you can easily see what the worker units are doing, such as which ones are building, gathering resources, or more importantly, doing nothing at all. You then could select them through the Army Controller interface and give them a task, without even needing to move your map to where the unit is located. It makes the task of using healing units that much easier too, as you can instantly see the health of all your units and tell your medics to heal wounded units directly. </p></blockquote><p>Read: <a href="http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=34119" title="preview">ParaWorld Preview</a></p><p>Also: <a href="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/gallery.php?dir=ParaWorld" title="Gallery">ParaWorld Gallery</a> </p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><a href="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/gallery.php?dir=ParaWorld&file=pw2.jpg" title="pw"><img src="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/screenshots/ParaWorld/thumbs/pw2_thumb.jpg" alt=" " width="200" height="150" /></a> <a href="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/gallery.php?dir=ParaWorld&file=pw3.jpg" title="pw"><img src="http://www.tacticularcancer.com/screenshots/ParaWorld/thumbs/pw3_thumb.jpg" alt=" " width="200" height="150" /></a></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p> </p><p>Spotted @ <a href="http://www.bluesnews.com">Blues News</a></p>

That game doesn't count because it looks like crap (and I didn't know about it). So you can go to hell, Canadian.

Fun fact: Did you know that Firaxis was going to do a dinosaur game at one point? It was possibly going to be a RTS, too. Eventually, though, the ketamine wore off and they decided to do another Civ game instead.

Reminds me of Savage.

Savage was fun, to bad the community was crap.

This game looks quite good, just hoping they do something original with the game mechanics.
