All these images are clearly designed to distract us from the obvious truth: Neverwinter Nights II sucks more than a prostitute.

I think they are all ok. But what about you? Weren't you gay and a furry? That might make you less objective when judging women. Just an idea...

    @Jasede

NWN2 campaign is not stupid. It's a rare thing in todays games (in all of genres) when bad guys are driven by ironic logic (take Black Garius f. e. and how his evil plan turned for him in the end =) ), not by bioware-styled script "I'm a bad guy, so I must kill everybody because I'm bad".

NWN2 is far not a great rpg. But it's definitely WORTH a shot.
I know why VD didnt like it, but NWN2 indeed has places where you have to fight countless monsters, like in the end of act 1, but it's definitely FAR FAR more intelligent than IWD2. As well as better than NWN1 OC.
As someone mentioned here NWN2 is uneven. In some places it's a huge letdown, in some - it's a great game. And because of the second places it works. At least for me.
But as I said - you should try it.

voice acting is... satisfactory. I really liked Neeshka's voice, while Elanee sucked. Khelgar is a standard dwarf - true, like some others, but some voices are pretty fine chosen.

    Yea, pretty much.

I tend to do every sidequest and plot, no matter how annoying, for fear of missing out on something. In this case, I got bored during the "gather allies for final battle" part and can't seem to bring myself to pick it up again. How much is there left to do at that point? I'd like to finish the campaign at least before I uninstall it.

The "Gather allies" part is fairly close to the end. There are a few more things that need to be done, but I think it's close enough that you might as well finish the game.

Yeah you're nearly in the end of the game. Very close.
I will give you a little spoiler if you want. Don't read it if you don't want it.

    -----
Obsidian fucked up with this quest. Really - there's nothing that depends on the fact that you gathered your allies or not. The only difference is in difficulty of a last fortress battle.

Well, it might have the issue where since you do not find any of these women 'Attractive', you look more for a stereotypical 'Artform/Perfection' rather than just feeling attracted when looking at some pic of a girl. People often find other people, who are not the normal stereotype of good looking, attractive.

The most brilliant design practice of all (in my ever so humble opinion, of course): regard CRPGs as computer variants of their pen and paper equivalents. So self-evident, yet so ignored.

As for examples, you need look no further than that nice list of top 10 CRPGs (chosen by popular vote) on this very forum.

If you keep undermining my frail self-esteem like that, I will have to.

voice acting in the german version is better than in the english one, i just reinstalled it in english a few weeks ago and well.... yeah it kinda sucks.

and i normally prefer english VOs over german ones by far from a pure "quality point of view", its rare german VOs are good but in NWN2s case they are.

i wont disagree with the critics because they mostly tell the truth, the game has quite a few flaws from the codex hivemind perspective.

if you liked BG2 then NWN2 wont disappoint (except for lenght, but then NWN2 with 50-60h is still pretty high for nowaday standard), it shares most of its weaknesses and strenghts, is worse in some regards(difficulty) but better in others (dialogue).

if you already found BG2 lacking then NWN2 is not for you.

so i dont really mind when people here bash NWN2, most of their points are valid and i d agree with them, even if i personally enjoy the game for its other strenghts.

i just dont get how Gothic 3 and Jade Empire got rather (for codex standards) positive reviews where NWN2 did not. i respect some of the things they tried (and failed) to do in gothic 3 and thus would prefer it oblivion..... if someone forced me with a gun to play either again. and anything you might criticise in NWN2 is just as bad or worse in JE, so that game beeing better received must have to do with asian romances i guess....

Jasede, it seems, likes women with sharper features. My taste then definitely differs because I prefer the rounder ones. And yes, I completely do not like what Jasede posted.

"Sorry Volourn. I didn't mean to say you hate NWN 2, but that you acknowledge it has some weaknesses and a pretty stupid story (as you said in another thread), and I suppose if both VD and you can agree on that it can't be a good story at all!"

    I see. No problemo then.

As for the women posted in this thread. They all look pretty good. Maybe because I'm not trrying to rpick, and 'cool' by saying an obviously pretty/cute/beautiful women is (HAHAHA!) ugly.

    Meh.

Did NWN2 already get an official review yet, or what? I must have missed it. But yes, your point is quite true, there is no way that NWN2 could or should ever score lower than Jade Empire. It did in most mainstream reviews, so the Codex one should be the opposite.

yeah... but she doing a rather nice blowjob as shown in paris hilton's official motion picture

I think the Hollyshit bosses were brainwashed and started a competition who finds an uglier actress for their another shit hit movie. You can't beat Uwe Boll bastards! not in this life, you hear!

Jade Empire sucks ass when compared to NWN2. JE has nothing special except that classic bioware romance shit, where you will end up fucking everyone anyway.

Imagine a new Zombie movie by Dr. Boll, and Paris Hilton is the actor of every zombie... That's what I call horror.
