For like the 4th time or so I'm trying to play this and I'm doing anything possible to make the experience less painful.
Nothing to fix one of the worst combat systems in existence, but at least there's a mod for the UI which is also one of the worst UIs in existence.
The speed is killing me, though. And then there are Fallout 3 players who think the original Fallout games were slow. What the fuck? Why is the walking speed even an option? It's literally unplayable in walking speed. The walking speed should've been like the running speed is now and the running speed.. dunno... faster?
That's why Bethestards keep wanking about how they play these games for 3000 hours. During the time spent going around in this speed you could finish several other games. I bet this is a Bethesda conspiracy, so they can claim their games are HUGE.

So, what are the options? Anyone played it with the speedhack in Cheat Engine? I found a 1.4 increase to make it at least tolerable, but I'm wondering if there will be any problems... like breaking scripts or whatever.
I found the fMoveRunMult console command too, but I'm not sure how that works and if it affects everything or just the player. I don't want to use it as a cheat.

Thanks, but that looks dangerous to install in an already started game, that's using the original Sawyer mod. And if I understand correctly the sprinting is something made up by the modders which uses AP. I would prefer if EVERYTHING was faster, like the speedhack does, I just don't want it to break the game.

For clarification, you want to increase the movement (running) speed of every character and creature in the game?

If this is the case, your best bet is probly using the 'fmovebasespeed' console command.

SetGS fmovebasespeed 140

makes everything in the game move 1.4 times faster (but regardless whether they sneak, walk, run or swim, etc)

Well, that seems to do what I want. Hopefully it won't break anything. Thanks!
