Tacticular Cancer: We'll have your balls

And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

I wonder if this was some kind of experiment.

The video is a mishmash of buzzwords stolen from other Kickstarter projects ("action strategy-based RPG!"). They even use Brian Fargo's "By Gamers, For Gamers" tagline.

Terrible grammar. I would never give money to such clearly uneducated peasants.

They use the Kicking it forward icon from Fargo as well. Maybe someone should point him to the scam.

Kickstarter moar liek Scamstarter. Scary how much money seems to be in this. Do they keep track of how many successfully funded projects actually deliver in the end?

Irrelevant. They were almost certainly imitating him when they said that.

Interplay. The only EA ones I remember are "It's in the game" (EA Sports) and a creepy whispered "challenge everything". There was at least one before that though, just don't recall the words.

Well, for a while I believe it was just the logo crackling into perspective and some computerized voices vocalizing "ElecTronic Arts".

lol at people who didn't know that "By Gamers For Gamers" was Interplay's moto up at this point. Should be one of many requirements to know before you register here.

So the guy uses his real name, shows his face and uses clearly plagiarized materials? Exactly what was going through his mind?

The bad thing is that if he didn't use those images, the fraud might not have ever been caught. I hope people start to be much more cautious about throwing their doolars at the computer screen every time "EX-______ EMPLOYEES NEED YOUR HELP TO RELEASE BEST GAME EVER" pops up.
