That's Nick. There's no new programmer for TNW.

 And here we thought he'd brought his brother to work with him.

While looking for the soundtrack on Youtube, I've found a Russian composer nicknamed Lind Erebros. He has a full playlist of Age of Decadence music (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfOlldQ9Wkfo58brlvQNfPkHKu_3DnM4I), but only a single track (the wonderful main menu theme "In a Dead World") appears in the game.

It seems that he was contracted to write the music, but VD didn't like it and hired Ryan later. I've listened to it and agree that Lind's music is too lyrical and has a fairy tale vibe, while Ryan crafted an amazingly atmospheric and bleak soundscape that fits the theme perfectly.

It made me realize how significantly 2D art and music elevate the otherwise utterly unimpressive AoD aesthetics. Respect to VD for wise direction and salute to Mazin and Ryan!

I wonder if Lurker King is a big enough fanboy to know VD's real name.

:negative:

I'm still trying to figure it out his top ten cRPGs.

Vault Dweller top 10?

Daggerfall

Realms of Arkania 2: Star Trail

Fallout

Arcanum

Jagged Alliance 2

Prelude to Darkness

Planescape: Torment

Mask of the Betrayer

Darklands

Not necessarily in that order, but there is still one name missing. F:NV? DA:O? maybe one of the wizardry series?
