FNV doesn't really need any mods, unlike beth games. game is A+ by default in vanilla state.

I won't even start on the mod list, holy fuck delete this thread.

This mod list is effect of thousand of hours of mod testing and installing and reinstalling the game, less is more and this is what you only need to have the best new vegas experience and don't bring the gamebryo to a halt so it's not crashing every few steps.

For the rest of your post i won't even answer because clearly you don't even know what you don't know.

Don't be a faggot. New Vegas is great but there's always room for improvement, especially in games so broad.

Game doesn’t need any mod except JSawyer.

If you want all fun from New Vegas removed, than sure. Sawyer mod brakes the game, because you level slower thus you have less points for the skills you normaly would have without the mod at the time you would be at specific location, meaning in some locations where you could accomplish quest via different methods [speach, science, repair, explosives etc] are not available in sawyer mod in the sake of -balancing- the game, leaving you with only 1 default option of finishing the quest because usualy you will be under leveled without the skills.

Yes, you have to choose (also known as role play) what skills to specialise in. Rather than be Jack of all Trades.

Fallout: New Vegas is my second favourite RPG. I love it. But it was too easy to master everything.

At early stages you are not master of everything, in the end yes, but at the end you are supposed to be, just like in Morrowind or Fallout 1.

In sawyer you are bad in early and mid game and in late game you are ok, in the normal game at the end you are overpowered, but that is how it is supposed to be in a power fantasy and there's nothing wrong with it in a singleplayer game.

Play it as you like, but I found that without JSawyer I quickly became overpowered and could overwhelm near everything. Almost no challenge whatsoever and no tough decisions. It was JSawyer that made FNV a real RPG to me, but then again you are a Bethesda fan so our tastes are bound to diverge.

I know, I see your tag and I m assuming you are a Bethesda fan. (Also, no way anyone would like the 50 level cap, unless they were a Bethesda fan or maybe a storyfag)

I probably spent more time swapping mods in New Vegas than actualy replaying it.

Thousands of hours spent in mod testing instead of learning a new skill, or anything else more productive, really. It hurts.

What you actually are saying is that JSawyer mod had the audacity to make all those +skill buff books and items actually have a purpose. Doubt that can be ever forgiven.

I always leave House alive and isolated in his hibernation chamber. Enjoy eternity old man!

Not really relevant but I wanted it out there.

This. It's much better to have quests close off because you don't specialize in certain skills, than rendering your choice of build pointless by letting you get better at everything way too quickly.

One can only dream about what a 100% Obsidian Fallout would play like. It was Sawyer himself who thought "this game is way too easy", so that speaks well for the future of a possible Obsidian Fallout.
