Yeah, well, as sweet as beating up Julia might sound, I'm also more of a mind to pick D

Well, we wanted a pink-painted terror bot way back when, didn't we? Let's make one.

We probably have a good base of support amongst the gangs, refugees, citizens and officials of Ankida, but I don't know how practical it is to try and fight it off head-on with the President's forces. Not to mention it would constitute a full-blown rebellion. treave do we have a rough estimate of, say, the type and # of forces each side can bring to bear?

Otherwise it seems to be a straight-up trade of who to network with - Star League, Immortals, Military.

Well, crap. Knowing treave the Mushu are probably the "growing threat that will devour us all if we wait too long", but then again building Mere's rep isn't necessarily going to be advantageous to us and I sure as hell don't want to side with the Masters' puppets (immortals) - not after all they've done. A master of assassin's will be very useful to us once we finally take on Julia though - and it'd be good to get more points with the Kyrie clone's boss...

I'll vote A for now, since no one else seems to want to.

The Independent Ankidan Defense Force has 20 3rd gen Onuris CFs, 12 APCs and 170 soldiers with standard equipment that dates back to before the cataclysm. The Red Octopus can give you about 100 gang members, while you estimate that only 2000 out of the tens of thousands of the Order's members are capable of being turned into combatants within a week. The refugees tend to be a hardier bunch but defending against an actual military is different from rioting. The city itself has anti air defenses of course, and you have your almost complete suit which is statistically on par with a 3rd gen frame.

As for the Federation, you expect them to send a battleship with its escorts of two cruisers. These carry a contingent of 50 6th gen frames, with a mix of air superiority and land based models, 40 armored vehicles and 1000 soldiers. The warships have armaments that can wipe out the city but that is not their goal.

D: we definitely cannot win a full-scale war without mass casualties, or a lot of Tactical Genius, since we skipped the opportunity to train tacticians.

Our father, on the other hand, has the groundwork laid out for a future warfleet. Sure, they're not too skilled or equipped right now, but a few years of space piracy and Senya's power armor will fix that. Let's hope daddy has the space for a workshop.

In fact, later on down the road, I think this will be our best option: let Iannes work his diplomatic and political magic and we'll focus on creating a decent military. By the way, how is that Innana flower doing and how much longer can we expect Iannes to live, treave?

The flower is still locked down in the laboratory. You can expect Iannes to have a good couple decades ahead of him still given modern medical technology.

Good, we don't have to worry too much about him "lol heartstroke"-ing, unless we leave assassins right by his side, who also look a lot like his beloved daughter. Nano-Kyrie is coming with us, even though it's extremely risky. A scene between these two was promised and by God I will get it!

Good, less prob lems to worry about, don't need Tarliss to know more than she absolutely must. I will hazard a guess at the Mushuszu Emperor's identity: batfuck insane Ares after a few millenia inbetween realities and devouring his voices. We do know that the leaders of both factions are Immortals from Shulgi's introduction to the Brave New World, and that narrows it down quite a bit.
Make me a promise that we wont pass up the opportunity to create an uber-military this time around.
and 170 soldiers with standard equipment that dates back to before the cataclysm.
This screams "Space Mehreens in training," all we need tovdo is whip up some power armor for 'em.

It looks like D is going to win. It's probably actually my second choice, but I really want to try the climb-the-tech-tree option for once. Let's be a mad scientist (E).

Just caught up. As far as I see it, there's only one option I can vote for in good faith...
