And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Then the same could be said about Neverwinter Nights

Why did they call Fallout 2 what they did? Why not a whole other name? Maybe because it was a SEQUEL, and that's exactly what this new Bard's Tale is.... a SEQUEL.

I have no problem whatsoever with him using the title as long as he pumps out a decent product.

True about NWN. The first couple months on the NWN forums were funny as hell.

Is BT a sequel? It doesn't carry the 'story' (if the original could be dignified with the term)
Fallout 2 at least had some connections (spawn of the VD, setting, style, etc) But for BT almost all of that is completely different.

If its decent. If. Big if.

From what I've seen so far, I think it just takes place in the same location as the first three games. Not necessarily the same city, but the same campaign setting. The information on the game it sketchy at best right now. But, being a big fan of the original, I am doing my best to keep tabs on it.

If it is a remake of the original, then I will have to agree that he better do something truly remarkable to pull it off or there will be alot of disappointed people out there. The original had so many moments where I found myself wishing I could do something else in this or that situation, etc. I just hope it's not gonna be another Might And Magic 9. *shudders*

And I wouldn't say it's a big if... but it is an if. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I'll wait until more info and screenshots start flowing our way before I start making any sort of judgement.
