Wait, Notch actually took his billion dollars and bought a mansion in LA so he could cry on twitter with his other twitter friends? Left everyone he knew and everything he did behind just to hang out with the 'in' crowd?

That's some spectacular financial and life mismanagement.

He though he was going to hang out with LA and Hollywood celebs if he moved there. Turns out nobody wants to be near a fat aspie from Sweden.

Them tweets, what an entitled little Bitch... Complaining that he hasn't any friends or hasn't anything to do with several billion dollars.

Travel the fucking world, meet new people, talk to them, fuck them and then say goodbye to them while you travel to another new and magical Sexual paradise.

I tell you degenerates, mainlanders never cease to amaze me with their stupidity.

He has so many options. The salient ones, to me, are:

1. Give most of his money to the Free Software Foundation and/or the GNU Project and/or the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the like. To atone. For what he did. Perhaps his penance would be to develop minetest, or whatever the primary FOSS Minecraft competitor is.

2. Join the YPG in Syria to fight against Islamic State. That way his boredom would be punctuated by brief sessions of manic excitement (and danger). In the meantime, he would experience the cameraderie of a revolutionary army, might meet a nice Kurdish girl (not all of them are fighting and voluntarily celibate) and use his money to further the constuction of a Socialist paradise in Rojava. Perhaps he could go a-hacking ISIS social media accounts?

3. Pay off some of Greece's debt. Or, better, buy medicines for Greek hospitals -- I hear they have supply problems.

4. Bankroll Bernie Sanders.

How entitled and miserable you have to be to complain when you have billions of dollars ?

Goddammit, there's so much that could be done. Travel the world, ANYWHERE YOU FUCKING WANT! You want to go to France? Go there. You want to go to Japan? Go there. You want to go to Somalia? You have enough money to hire armed mercs to not only go there but survive.

Looking for a challenge? Start another business. Hell, if you're looking to socialize you can kill both birds and open your own pub. (People might be turned off of a pub when it has a sobbing fat Swede sitting behind the counter though).

And then, when it's all done, retire to your mansion in the mountains for some rest.

Fucking hell.

I think the crux of this was hidden in one of those tweets: he had a girl who knew him leading up to his success, but she bailed.

So now he's super-rich which means he can no longer trust any stranger to not have ulterior motives. I've seen this first-hand. Most guys in that position hire escorts. And then they do a lot of drugs.

Most guys would do this regardless, of they had the money.

I know a couple of friends who used escorts a lot while working in Lisbon, they said they would have continued to use escorts if it wasn't so damn expensive...

I've never understood bored people . I can lay on a coach for several hours and not feel bored at all .

On Notch . Just another example of how money can affect people . Might be midlife crisis , but who cares ?

No easier way to reveal how shallow/empty a human being is than to give them all the money in the world and watch them cry about how 'lonely' they are and how life has no meaning.

He probably feels he should be doing something from 9 to 5 every day, since he's still young and able, but he's not doing that, which leads him to feeling miserable. If anything, I don't think he would be doing any sort of business anytime soon. I mean, it's not like he started as an used car salesman to, years later, become the new president of Ford. He just found success with a simple computer thing.

He has the money to start something that would get him active/working. A charity? A 'publisher' of sorts that helps funds worthwhile (yeah... I know) indie game projects? Does he have no other interests outside of partying and making shitty builder games?
