Illegal drugs and how they got that way - Opium, Morphine and Heroin

Quite an interesting little documentary coursing how opium was used from the Babylonian times throught to the American Victorian era and today.

I watched Shoah recently...man, that church scene in Poland where the survivor was surrounded feeling hopelessly trapped in disbelieving throng and the account of a barber about the gas chamber with the Czech jews, resigned to their fate and naked, singing their national anthem is one of the most powerful thing captured on film.

Not to forget, flammable water. How awesome is that? Frankly I don't see what the whining is about.

    Atomic Cafe.

It's twelve parts so find the others yourself. It's not hard. A good documentary on the nuclear tests in the Pacific, specifically Bikini Atoll. It's one of those few documentaries with a twist at the end. Wait for it. It's worth it. Especially for you Fallout fans.

    Undercover: North Korea

A really interesting documentary on North Korea. They actually get permission to interview families and enter their houses to get an idea of what the privileged live like in NK.

Just stolen and watched How the universe works, which is a 2010 documentary on astrophysics. It's quite informative, but very "american", so lots of explosions, superlatives, what-ifs, and the narrator has the movie trailer voice. I found it on youtube as well, but it's divided up into millions of parts, many of which don't work or have been disabled

This one was not bad, the material on the holographic universe was new to me (I'd heard of it, but not in any detail).

Also they mention infinite universes, I thought there were only supposed to be nine unless the holographic universe is now the defacto theory.
