Boss, about that transmission in the cave.
Don't think about it.
That's probably to signal us that Highpool is out.
We'll make them pay for that shit.
Think the tower is up when we get there?
Probably not. They're pretty thorough.
Later...
I already have them, here.
Thank God. You're just in time!
Phew. That's good to hear.
Thank you, Rangers.
If anyone of you got blasted by a pod then spreading the cure through the complex will get enough medicine in your system to clear you up.
How do we do that?
Add a single dose of the serum to the nutrient reservoir tanks in the East Greenhouse, just down the hall from here.
And that'll cure us?
Yes, what do you say?
This is a tough choice, bros.
Yeah, do it - we live. Don't do it, we all die.
We can take the cure and just ingest it ourselves. Become assholes.
Why would anyone want to do that?
Ask Fargo. I'm just a gamer.
Kathy, we'll do it.
Even the game is making fun of us. Jeez.
We run across a bunch of survivors. One of them is Ryan, whose girl, Rachel blew up on this spot.
We don't have enough smart ass to cheer him up. So we tell him, we don't know what else he could do now. And off he goes. Choices and consequences. Totally.
The vines are now weak enough to be torn down by normal attacks.
This is such a silly choice to make, I don't even. Can't even sell the serum for cash.
The only motivation for evil is just 'being an asshole'
I hate to say it, but hiver's analysis of Ag Center is 100% correct.
Aside from my incorrect assumption of 'Easy Combat' that I didn't realize we're on Rookie by default on second run after the trial first.
Had the combat been a little harder - I would've been forced to just find a choke point and slowly let Angela tank the whole thing by herself in melee, or by the doorway
It's not really that exciting of a prospect to be honest. We'll see what happens in Highpool.
I hope the writing improves. Quite a missed opportunity. Ag Center had that 'sinister feel' only to be let down by a poor climax and lack of faith in 'player's observation' skills.
And that's that. Infection's gone.
Thanks, Matt. How about a trade?
Show me what you got.
And another thing: Barter is essentially useless.
I mean, look at the amount of junk you loot. It's insane. There's no sense of scarcity at all.
It's a little nitpicky, but I guess making default selling price lower and having Barter in convo is a good start. Replace one of the convo skill with that maybe? Anyways, we punch the code into Matt's safe and loot his safe.
Yet another M2. I found no less than 4 in this complex alone. Sigh.
And other kinda worthless junk.
Let's settle this place already.
Yeah, get to it.
Is it working?
Should be.
Affirmative.
What the hell is this?
God's mercy is in the bullets of our guns, brothers and sisters. It is in the tips of our bayonets! It is in the death of every sinner who is too blind to turn to the light. Every time we end a life in this God forsaken world, we end misery and bring peace. So I say unto you friends, praise the Lord and--
Dammit, Woodson! I did not want that to go out over the air! I--
General, what was that?
Sorry about that, Echo One. Uh, good job. You're halfway there. Please proceed to Highpool ASAP. We're still getting SOS calls from that location. Again, deal with the emergency first, the radio tower second. Copy?
We copy.
Let's go. Let's make those raiders pay.
Hope it's more fun than this place.
Let's take a break and play New Vegas guys.
Cool. Let's try Project Nevada.
