I will do Reunion afterwards. It is a game similar to Alien Legacy.

I do believe it is better for me not to do any more visual novels and japanese role playing games. I do always abandon them halfway through. I do not enjoy those Let's Play as much as I did enjoy to make the other Let's Play. There is too much dialogue and too many variations of the character faces to remember the filenames of. It becomes akin to a job when I do spend more time to type the dialogue and place the character portraits than I do on the gameplay and on how did my lack of skill create a particularly amusing situation. And as you do well know they are very long to make.

Please forgive me if this does bring you disappointment.

I loved Reunion and I'd rather see an LP of that than you completing P3, as I believe we've all a pretty good grasp on the feel and mechanics of that game by now.

That's a shame

I disagree with the various portraits being hard to remember, the secret is using patterns that are easy to remember, and the P4 characters do have rather fixed expressions - if you nail them down you'll be just fine.

For example, I prefixed the summer variations of their clothes with 's_', their dungeon crawling ones with 'megane_' and their casual clothes with 'casual_'. Which would give me something like 's_megane_yosuke' for example. There are others too, like the kimono Yukiko wore back in april, shadow for their shadows (obviously), the tracksuits and swimsuits (mizugi) they wore at the camp, etc.
Then there are set expressions, their neutral face with variants for smiling, worry, anger/determination, sighs, exasperation, and surprise. If you get classifying these down, you're set, but it's probably the hardest thing to do initially.

At least, this is how the 345 portraits I currently have, remained completely manageable.
It probably also helps that I removed the backgrounds.

I'll just leave this little bonus here, my "environment" for writing up my LP updates.

Just in case you can't see the scrollbar on the "Folder View" widget, there's roughly 5/6 pages worth of icons just there, you're seeing only 1. The stray ".url" files are steam's doing.

Yeah, Void Quest was a decent dungeon with a easy boss... unlike the fucking next one, that had such a boring dungeon (+my burnout) that I had a 2 months break before gathering the willpower to get throught it...

Yeah, It doesn't help that Naoto's dungeon requires backtracking either.
You need to go to level 6 to get a key to fight the boss on level 4 so you can get to the final boss fight on level (11?)

Level 7 has these annoying floor traps, the only way these can mess with you is if you somehow got hit with a Reversed Hermit.

They rotate both you and the camera, But they don't always do it, so if it spins you out of the direction you wanted to go, just try again.
It's pretty shounen-esque; if you can't go in the direction you want to, you're not trying hard enough!

And this boss fight on level 7...
So here I entered the room with Titania equipped and Yosuke, Chie and Kanji at my side.
The boss summoned a "Hand" that was weak to wind, so I opened up with magaru and knocked it down.
Then suddenly Chie perked up and was all, "Hey! Let me Galactic Punt the boss!" - and 'lo the boss was history and I was pissing myself with laughter.

Still weighed down by the Reversed Emperor, they soon replace it with the Upright Heirophant, which protects them from some misfortune.
Our heroes bravely fight the hording shadows, butterflies, snakes, beetles, and miscellaneous, as they push on towards the end.

Oh hi guys, it's been several months again.

Firstly, I accidentally deleted the footage I took of Level 7.
This level has a weird floor mechanic that rotates you randomly, you can get past it easily enough with sufficient persistence, I still do not know how it works.
As for the boss fight, I'll let this Omega fellow fill you in, the fight was more or less concluded in the exact same manner.

Our journey continues through "chapter 8."
Yosuke learns Magarula, which replaces Magaru (basically a more powerful version of the same thing).
Then we are finally introduced to the "reels" version of the Persona gathering minigames.

Spoiler: I didn't win anything.

I also get more Reverse Arcanas and Penalty cards than ever before.
I got Reversed Lovers twice, this card I strangely like as it makes the dungeon crawls more interesting by replacing all the mobs with stronger variants of themselves, which means more EXP!
We reach floor 9 soon...
The moon on the other hand sucks, when reversed this reduces EXP gain to 1 per battle.

Here we encounter the "Protective Rexy" for the first time.
This enemy casts a very powerful buff on an ally, and then flees.
This buff is either Tetrakarn or Makarakarn, respectively these reflect a single physical, or a single magical attack.

We then encounter a tank with Agidyne magic, that being the most potent single target version of the Agi-family of fire spells.

Luckily my current Persona, Titania, knows Red Wall, so I can protect mai waifu Chie.

I soon learn Regenerate 2, an ability that lets me recover a small bit of HP at the start of a combat round.
For the record, the Invigorate family of skills are much more useful; they're the same thing but SP focused.

We then find some armour with the "Evade Phys" property, against my better judgement, I equip this on Yosuke.

And Rise learns the first of her abilities, Third Eye lets you gauge the effectiveness of an attack in the targeting mechanism. Essentially this means fewer trips to the "analysis" screen.

We then reach the end, but first...

I take a moment to respire and register my new/improved Personae.
