I know, and we're only at the half-way point!
So far we've done 4 out of 7 storyline dungeons, as for Social Links...
I don't think I'll be doing another Let's Play ever again, and if I did, they won't be story heavy games, and if they are, they plot will just be skipped with "yadda-yadda who cares."

The above purchases are made, and we then head to Shiroku and restock on Revival Beads - I really should learn to wait for rainy days...
Then myself and I decide to mess around with fusions.
I noticed there was a dodecahedron spread, this is obviously far out of my league.
He levelled up a bit due to the SLink bonus.
In addition, Rakukaja changed into Traesto thanks to the fusion forecast; not a big loss as the Persona has Marakukaja, due to buffs and debuffs being single target abilities in Persona 4.
We also get rid of some additional Personae we don't need.
And compelled by whimsy... I summon....

We chill out with Chie, and tutor Shu, no rank ups.
In hind sight, I shouldn't have hung out with Chie yet, because EVENTS!
The Maneki Neko comes with 2 Giant Candies; the main item itself raises luck by 5 points (I looked it up), not very useful to me.
The smart bombs came with 2 Super Sonics; 2 Masukukajas, that being the party based speed buff.
