Before entering the castle itself we have a casino in our left and an arena at our right…

First we ask the King for permission to fight in the arena…
"Could you tell me where I could get my hands on the participation coupon to take part on the tournament of the colisseum?"

I got the participation coupon from the king.
Now we leave the castle…
We heard that Yuran uses some nasty attack that can be prevented with a certain item, hirara lemons.
So we go to the shop.
We buy Hirara lemons for 200 GOLD, and we coat our armor using the Hirara lemon.
This should stop her deadliest attack: Illusive Sword.
We also need another item…

A small update today.
We are supposed to get into the haunted mansion, so we leave the castle.
The mansion is north from the park
``Tch. It is closed. My instinct tells me there´s something important here though. In front of the haunted mansion ´´
To enter the house we need to forget the logic.
There is some kind of tale in japan about some kind of straw merchant. Some guy that by exchanging a straw with some other shit, and that shit by another one… he ended up becoming rich.
And we have a straw.
So by trial and error and talking to every fucking npc, looking in every corner, and assaulting every single entity we end up discovering something…
Girl "Ahhh... I can´t reach the dust in the corner. Ah! You have something very useful with you. Give me that straw."
"Ok. It is only in the way."
I gave her the straw.
Girl "*swep * *swep* *swe*. Finally! I can take care of the dust in the corner."
She disposes of the straw she dexterously used to dust.
Girl "Thanks. Thanks to you I can continue with my work. Here a mandarine as thanks."
I got the delicious looking "mandarine"
Now that we got the next item we repeat the process, until we discover the next illogical step…
Girl "Ah! You are holding a very tasty-looking mandarin, aren´t you? My throat is so dry it bothers me. Won´t you give it to me?"
"Can´t be helped."
I gave her the mandarin. The girl ate it like it was really delicious.
Girl "It was delicious. As a thanks I will give you the "key of the Haunted house.""
"Why do you have that key!?"
Girl "O ho ho ho....Don´t sweat the small stuff."
...somehow...the "Straw" got me the "Mandarin" which then got me the "Key"... how mysterious.
But before we go to the mansion, we train a bit more…

I used the key and opened the door. The door opened with a groaning as if it was hurt. I went inside without delay.........
[??????]"Welcome the haunted mansion Are you a servant of the queen too? You should escape before you hurt yourself."
The voice that warned me was somehow a very sad one. In any case I took the first step inside the haunted mansion.
This is the lobby of the mansion
We are instantly assaulted by the gore bug!!!

We are in the lobby of the mansion…
The place is full of dirt and shit lying around, we will have to do lots of searching…
The only interesting thing in the lobby is an old clock…
We go to the northern room…
I went North..*Geeeeee ksh!* The south door closed all by itself.
“Hey! Don´t close on your own! *knock* *knock*"......I can´t open it... I am trapped inside.
The door is shut, so we search around the room…
After dealing with the ghost we check again…
Mm? There is something that looks like a sword in the chimney.
I took the sword out of the chimney. It looks like this sword is called "Royal sword" It has more destructive power than the sword I amusing right now.
While trapped in the room we are assaulted by several ghosts, at last…
This ghost is as weak as the others, but he has a nasty power:
ZHA Scream man used memory killer.
"woa...my memories are fading away..."
Rance lost5 experience points.
We kill him fast, and then we can open the door again.
But whatever we have done has caused the spirits to become restless…

We decide to check the western rooms, but we are attacked by DoubleHannys.

Hannys are a common pest in the Rance world, and they are very varied. Apparently they are based in some kind of funerary figures called Haniwa or something like that.
The more regular type is the brown one (not introduced yet), with more powerful versions like the green, blue, red and black ones. But there are many other types, like the Golden Hanny, a giant Hanny made of Gold (apparently they are the only source of gold in this world).
They aren’t too much of a threat, but somewhere around Rance 3 or 4 they become immune to magic…

The room seems like it used to be a party hall… other than that there is nothing of interest.
We check the bathroom in the north but we find nothing.
In the way out we are attacked by strange monsters…
After the fight we check the North-west corner of the house.
We find a locked door, an empty room, and some kind of storage room.
We enter…
I went East. This is a storage. Suddenly a gust of wind blew when I entered the room.

Hannys are a common pest in the Rance world, and they are very varied. Apparently they are based in some kind of funerary figures called Haniwa or something like that.
The more regular type is the brown one (not introduced yet), with more powerful versions like the green, blue, red and black ones. But there are many other types, like the Golden Hanny, a giant Hanny made of Gold (apparently they are the only source of gold in this world).
They aren’t too much of a threat, but somewhere around Rance 3 or 4 they become immune to magic…

After having fun in the item store, we head back to deal with the ghost problem...
