I've said it before, Luna has access to spells. Earth heals, Fire burns. And for some monster types like Trees, they're weak against Fire. They cost MP to cast, but always pack a punch, and feel free to spam the MP away. The pots might be expensive, but hell, as long as you grind near towns, rest at cheap inns to restore MP back to full.



Another neat feature of Luna is teleport. We can now go to any city we previously visit before! No more stranded in the wilderness with no potions and low HP!

Backtracking also allows us to collect some hidden gems to increase Luna's spell choices!







Use the snow gem once, and Luna will learn Blizzard. Use it the second time, and she can cast AoE. Yes. Multi-hit cast. Overpowered.

Also, go to the Nudist village for another gem. There's plenty of spots. I didn't get them all.









Now, we can grind like crazy and not worry about dying too much. Also, firebirds die to AoE Blizzard.



I'll see you later once I grind to lvl 40 or something.

It wouldn't do anything but make the stupid grinding harder since she'll die a lot.

I played DK3 through during the time when one couldn't get walkthroughs from the interwebz. Mahn. Missed those gems. Didn't stop me from finishing the game tho :z

This game never fucking reaches climax (literally) if I remember.

This is really Leisure Suit Larry Medieval version.

Oh boy, I'd never imagine I'd register at the Codex, but that's reason enough to me.

Putting aside all the climaxes our hero reaches during his quest (and most of the gamers during their first playthrough), the game itself climaxes in the battle between the goddess of light and the lord of darkness themselves, in which our hero literally gets thrown. The chosen hero of light beating up the bishop of blasphemy himself (or simply Ray). I don't want to spoiler anything, so that's as much as I'm going to say.
I know, it's pretty average, for 1991, but you can't say it "never fucking reaches climax", or most RPGs never reached said climax.

I'm sorry for my bad english, for I'm german, and with that said, I'm taking my leave.

(Other climax to mention: The bed scene between Desmond/Shep and Luna has been worth the while)
