But this one is a drag. Lore is boring, English is terrible, and I can't find anything to laugh or to chuckle, even (Rance games were humorous in their own insane way, Words Worth had your attempts at humour working well). Why should we care about a subpar JRPG? Terribly drawn porn?
Like Utawareetcetcetc, this is merely a drag. If you have to waste energy on a LP, take the bitter pill and LP KR.

Selika and Satia travel to Krajina to try to stop a war with the tribal.
Satia and I ended up sensing the presence of a man in the woods of Krajina.
[The high priestess told me I should come to help you for the infiltration of Krajina.]
[Satia came too? Bringing your girlfriend here...]
From the opposite direction, several soldiers and a priest walked out of the forest.
Priest [Who are they?]
Priest [So you're Selika? I have been informed of your coming in letter from Raune-sama]
Priest [I am the coordinator of the surveillance of the barbarian tribe of Krajina]
[Nice to meet you, and this is Satia a seeker of knowledge of Nasatia]
Priest [In fact our spies reported that Stinrulans seemed to hold a heretical ceremony in the forest]
[You mean a worshipping magic ritual for the Old Gods?]
The Old Gods were the rulers of the world before being vanquished by Valhad and the New Gods.
The tales of their cruelty and tyranny were common tales and they are all dead now but...
By nature the powers of gods are produced by the faith of their followers.
If many people gathered for such ritual it may weaken the new gods and bring back the Old ones

Satia asked but the Priest remained adamant in his suspicions, he gave us the details he had.
He did not understand the heretical art but a deleterious magic flowed out of the forest.

They are killable, but we will avoid killing them for sake of pacifism.
Crossing the river we reach something unusual.
The Stinrulans have a hidden road following the river north.
Following the path we reach another area.
The map is quite labyrinthine with many interconnected areas, so I won't show every nook and cranny and will just follow the plot.
From the feeling it seemed like the structure generated a sort of magic field.
[Depending on the position and number of these pillars the magic flux in the area changes.]
After touching the stone and feeling the flow of magic, this was her conclusion.
Well as they said, if you have only this much info this can sound fairly dangerous.
[Satia, can you determine which God this magic belongs to?]
[Yes, there are slight modifications but this is Virna's magic.]
Satia approached the structure and sent in her own power...
The rocks emitted a strong light in response to her art.

A Stinrulan woman? I could not tell but I did not feel any strong aggressiveness.
She kept a constant distance, was she observing us? Most probably yes.

With one pressure of her palm Satia perturbed the stone enough for the spell to dissolve.
And she set a simple barrier around the structure so no one would approach it.

After a few encounters with trash mobs we find another altar.
Satia started examining the runes and noted the positions of the pillars.
[It's as if it was designed from grudges for vengeance, it does not match Virna's attributions.]
[Somehow I have an idea about where that grudge is pointing...]
[Should we try to convince them that using such spell is wrong?...]
[Those girls are thinking that what they do is just and that we are evil, aren't they?]
[It would require a lot of time to reach their brains with words only...]
[And if the spell don't match Virna it will fail right? Maybe that will teach them a lesson.]

My only answer was an assassination attempt but I tried once more to speak to them.
[It is likely that the magic you are trying to accomplish is very dangerous!]

At last a voice answered my desperate shouts but her bloodthirst only got strengthened .
It was rare to hear Satia shout.
But it showed how serious consequences might be in her eyes.

After throwing at us her words full of curses the bloodthirst retreated deeper in the woods.

After dealing with the altar we continue with the search, eventually finding another one.
[It drains living souls and convert it in energy, then it curses any person considered an enemy]

[Just a mini-update, since for a month I've been without internet most of the time. From Monday on I expect to be able to have a couple of updates a week]

She wanted to kill and die... nothing else. But I could not allow myself to kill her
Dalnos and I parried her attacks while she aimed for vital spots.

[You trashes despise and laugh at our weakness. But don't think we will remain weak forever!]
[To protect the blood of our families we will face any number of enemies!]

A dull sound suddenly raised from under our feet.
Magical energies started to gather in the air and condensed around the stone pillars.
[The seal disappeared? I cant be... Not this fast...]

The air became sticky with grudge and madness.
Unnaturally collected magical wrapped up the forest.
It did not look good at all...
Ekatika and the other chicks are Earth Defence type.
Which means Selika's Thunder will hurt her more. Unfortunately we are virtually out of TP/MP. We will have to deal with them only with Selika's TP.
Some things I hadn't mentioned before iirc:
-When using Skill (most of the TP or MP consuming offensive ones) you can charge them (from the base 1 to the maximum of 5 ). This deals extra damage but increases the MP/TP cost, and increases the Act/Rec value.
-The combat is similar to ATB, when you pick an action one a character's turn it will take an X amount of time frames to Act, and then a Y number of time frames to Recover (then you pick another action).
Unless I'm to worried of running out of TP/MP or the enemy has fast nasty attacks I usually use charged attacks.
The fairy uses her remaining mana for a morale attack, making the beasts desert the women.
Satia uses a Cold Card item, dealing water damage to all enemies. With Selikas Straight Sword Dance and a regular attack from Dalnos Ekatika is left on her own.
She manages to deal plenty of damage, but Selika defeats her with a special attack.

A grim feeling spread in the atmosphere something nor human nor even monster was approaching.
[Oy! What the hell is this?]
[The strange magic gathered and mixed together generated ...Chaos... and the space cracked]
It sounded somewhat familiar...In the legendary wars of Gods there was this story about a goddess of chaos, Alayna, that had been summoned from another world by residual magic.
An existence of eternal greed determined to swallow everything...
[Ooh? So this too is an enemy of Valhad? Appear! And guard my people!]
[Be the vengeful fist of the Stinrulan people and bring destruction to the invader!]
Ekatika extended her arms toward the sky.
But the distorted mass of matter did not acknowledge her as a suitable master
The flabby mass of slime from outer world fell into the forest.
The wild beasts ran in panic and tornadoes started forming in the area.
Ekatika ordered with a resolute voice but, by instinct,she should have already realised.
That this thing of chaos would never be bent by the will of a person.
[Go! GO I said!]

Following Dalnos I pulled out my sword
That thing must not be touched for sure but will magic work? Or swords?
The forest was dying before my eyes.
The beasts that were caught were dissolved within moments same as the trees.

I had a bad feeling. Even if she had knowledge of Varnia's magic she was by no mean a follower..
Even if she could perturb or recognize Varnia's magic could she really use it?

Ameda walked toward the magic structure and Satia put her hand on her shoulder.
Is she sending her magical power ......?
A magic blast of wind ran through the forest.
An overwhelming magical power blowed away the chaotic atmosphere.
The extraplanar thing started shining and suddenly faded away.
Satia removed her hand from the elder's shoulder and wiped a drop of sweat from her forehead.
The elder lost strength in her knees but Ekatika rushed to prevent her from falling.
Dalnos and I both glanced at each other and sheathed our swords with a nod.
Ameda watched us once again and nodded slowly.
The elder made a small sign and the soldiers disappeared slowly in the depths of the forest.
Ekatika remained behind.
She turned around suddenly and disappeared.
And we remained in the scarred forest.
Dalnos had still a lot to say and had a hard time calming down
So I tried pull his attention on something else
He started walking while laughing heartily
But his back seemed a little stiff whether from anger or sorrow.
From the outskirts of the forest, soldiers of Valhal came running at us. So they were safe too.
[Dalnos left the party.]
With one final glance to the forest of Krajna Satia and I went back to Macl.

Now we are allowed to visit their town.
Not much to see, we will just restock.
We buy Magic and Tech stones and visit he elder.
As she said so, she stared at me.
Her eyes expressed complicated feelings but I was sure of one thing...
Satia might be but she did not really think it possible that I would ever be welcomed.
With a slight pain in the chest I glanced at the scenery.
The elder sighed with a bitter face
Was she trying to convince her to walk the road to reconciliation? Maybe...

Reconciliation will not be possible during our lives but it was our duty to try to start it.

It was not written in the histories of Macl but if you listen to rumors it is said that
the Stinrulans and Seirulans wanted to create a mixed community based on hunting .
But the Stinrulans never asked for this protection and took it as an invasion. Thus conflict...
Once she said that Kamino went ahead of us... to show her enthusiasm? Maybe...
There were so many enemies to fight so we needed to be united to be able to oppose them.
But I did understand the point of view of those who refused our faith.It seemed like she didn't

The moment we set foot in the village the inhabitant called out to us. They looked worried.
We looked at each other,puzzled,last time I heard from it it was a routine inspection mission.
Not a particularly urgent problem.
Villager [Still maybe you will hear us out?]
Villager [Actually we haven't seen Seno-sama since 3 ... 4 days.]
Villager [Will you listen to our story in more details?]
They believed it was a more dangerous or smart monster so Priest-Seno went into the forest.
He said he only wanted to check things out but he had been missing since then.
The villagers searched the forest nearby but didn't find anything and decided to contact Macl.
Same system as in Cuito. My father was in charge of the village and dealt with every minor danger like isolated monsters or bandits. But for more important problems like a grouped attack. A letter is sent to Macl to ask for reinforcements.
Villager [Ah... Yes! Thank you very much.]
Villager[Fortunately the monster they were hunting didn't do anything but we still don't know if the forest is safe or not. If soldiers of Valhad are present then we can work without worries.]
We nodded to the worried villager and decided to inspect the outskirts of the village.
If this person has disappeared for days it's probable he is in danger..
What will we do first then?

In this quest we get to pick actions to further the investigation, and eventually we visit a dungeon to end the quest. The amount of stuff we discover before has some minor effects on the outcome.
[Okay... first let's go to the Stinrulan tribe.]
In the depths of the forest of Cabaki we were stopped by a woman of the Stinrulan tribe.
Her weapons were already drawn and I felt nothing but aggressiveness and defiance.
I did foresee that we wouldn't be welcomed... but to this extent....
Stinrulan [Did a soldier of Valhad come to destroy us? But we will never surrender! ]
[We did not come to fight. One of our priest has gone missing and we're looking for him.]
Stinrulan [ The priest of the Cabaki village?]
[ You know something? ]
Stinrulan [Woman! Are you one of Valhad's hands too? ]
[I follow a different god but I am the kind of person who feels worried when someone vanishes]
[Please put your weapons away. We do not want to fight you. ]
The female soldier bit her lips and made one step back her defiance only increased.
[I wont draw my sword either...If you cant believe me then I'll give it to you. ]
Stinrulan [... I don't want your Valhadian sword!]
Stinrulan [If you think to use the priest's disappearance as an excuse to destroy us,then come and try!]
Stinrulan [But don't think we will forget the girls you kidnapped from our clan!]
[Kidnapped? What do you mean?]
Stinrulan [If we cant find the ones who went for water by this evening we will burn the village down!]
[Wait!]
Stinrulan [ Did you look in every corner? Every house? ]
[Not really but I didn't sense any distressed presence nor see any trace of struggle,not one.]

After checking nobody was listening I explained the situation to them and they nodded.

After confirming with everyone our plan for action we nodded and spread.
For an end of afternoon the bar was strangely deserted...
When he saw us enter the bar owner welcomed us with enthusiasm.

Bar Owner [One of the kids working at the church just found a rare ring in the forest...]
Bar Owner [He said the ring was surely a clue to find Seno-sama... there it is!]
The ring he showed us was without doubt a seal given as proof of status to Valhadian priests.
[Where exactly did he find it?]
Bar Owner [He was too excited when he picked it up.He came back running without checking where he was...]
Bar Owner [But he said he never saw this ring in our church so maybe some thieves dropped it or something]
[Sadly he's probably right...]
They might not know it but possessing one of these rings gives one a lot of influence.
Stealing them and pretending to be a priest is a rather well known trick for bandits.
[Where is the child who found this ring?]
Bar Owner [Probably at the church... waiting for Seno-sama to come back. There...]
He pointed a small building with a clearly different design from the rest through the window.
(Since it's our only clue we'd better check it out.)
Bar Owner [If only we didn't let him go alone on that day...]
Bar Owner [Nothing much, he said he'd make a patrol round like always.]

When we received our assignment Raune-sama did talk about an abandoned fort but...
And that ruins often became monster dens... maybe we should check it out.
Bar Owner [That when he tried he didn't manage to get into the fort or something.]
[Someone may have set up a barrier at the entrance...]
Possible and if that was true then it was someone that had a lot of power. A demon or a priest
The bartender sighed and let us leave...
We also have to see what Spheed and Kamino have found out... what should we do?
We have enough clues to tell there is something wrong with the fort.

I hailed a villager and asked him to transmit a message to Spheed.

After that we went to the fort.
We approached the ruin while checking for presences or traces of magic.
At some point I hit something that felt like a huge invisible wall and we stopped.
[An invisible barrier...]
[The spell itself is very crude but it is enough to keep the villagers out]

After saying so Satia close her eyes and focused on the barrier.
The feeling of a structured magic in front of us disappeared within seconds.
The fort, broken and run down, resembled a huge grave stone on a hill.
Weak rays of light leaked from the gaps in some wall. That was definitely unnatural light.
[ There's light.]
[ Let's go.]
We advanced toward the fort.
[Kamino? Where's Spheed?]
[He overworked himself by using wind spirits and is resting now.]
[The temple said they did receive any contact from Seno-sama nor the villagers]
[They said they will send replacement for him and reinforcements to investigate right away.]
[Even on fast horses that would mean they'll be here tomorrow.]
The problem had arose a few days ago already... tomorrow may be too late.

[Kamino, please watch for any suspicious activities in the surroundings.]

After nodding she crouched and hid behind a rock.
As for us we rushed to the fort.
We reach the doors to the fortress' courtyard, but they are to heavy.
We search for another entrance...
...and make it in trough a ruined segment of the wall.
The courtyard is mostly ruined. But when we reach the gate to the interior a shadow moves close...
There was a shadow moving by the main gate to the central tower of the fort. About to die...
Somehow the man had managed to parry my blow and I recognized his upper garments.
[ A soldier of Valhad? Why are you here?]
Guard [...Why you ask? I've been ordered to guard this place.]
Guard [Who on earth are you?]
[I am Warrior-Selika under Raune's command. I'm here to find the priest Seno...]
[If you were in the region they should have sent a letter or a magic message.]
Guard [Maybe they did a blunder? We've been ordered to come here for a monster extermination.]
Is that something to say to a comrade?
Satia whispered behind me as for the guard not to hear..
[His words are strange, it doesn't match what Kamino told us either.]
[We will need some sort of evidence or it will end in a sword fight.]
(I could easily subdue him.)
(But if he happens to really be a soldier of Valhad it would turn into a huge problem.)
I followed Satia's advice and left to examine the surroundings a bit longer.
We leave the soldier alone and do some searching...and eventually find something suspicious in an old barrack.
A mess of letter are scattered on a desk.
Most are letters from the temple but one is the letter from the villagers to Macl.
... the letter definitely shouldn't be here.
And even more suspicious, we find a hidden track west of the walls...
As we explored I smelled something rotting, Satia seemed to have sensed it too.
We estimated the direction and carefully advanced toward it.
When Satia took a sharp breath behind me I turned around, sword in hand, she was looking down.
I followed her gaze and understood. There was a person's foot jutting out from under a bush.
The person had been flayed and stabbed in multiple places, looked like a public execution...
[ I will turn the body... Satia please don't look.]
[No, I want to see it...]
I sighted and obeyed. The body was that of a male but disfigured and left nude to rot.
In these conditions finding out who he was will be difficult.
But we looked in detail at the body to find anything useful.
[He died about... three or four days ago.]
There were traces of sacred magic in the flesh. And the slight burns on his hands similar to mines told us he used lighting magic too. He was probably a servant of Valhad.
He was grabbing a scrap of cloth as if he had been gripping it until torn or struggling.
I opened his fingers carefully and took the piece of cloth.
There was a fragment of rune embroidered on the cloth, it was a piece of a Valhadian robe...
... I closed my eyes and cut down one of my mourning thread and muttered a quick prayer.
We would have to come back for him after a bit... for now...

Time to confront the perfectly legit Valhadian soldier.
A corpse, a scrap of Valhadian robe and the letter to Macl that has been thrown away.
We showed these as evidences to the guard and his eyes seemed to tell that he knew something.
[Who's commanding you? Answer!]
[Waste of time! Move aside I will meet him!]
[The Stinrulan tribe has lost people too I don't have time for etiquette, I'm going in.]
I took a menacing step forward and the guard turned around and fled into to fort.
He seriously didn't act like a soldier of Valhad... but he had more training than a mere bandit.
I too felt several strange powers emanating from within and,after a nod, we dashed inside.

This level has a central room with a chest and the two exits west lead to the same area.
The enemies are composed mainly of bandits and "rascals". The later are monsters of the same race as "mares", similar to succubi, some manifest Drain Magic powers (sex & live force related stuff, important later).
Easy stuff so far.
The second level only has some basic items.
Now we reach the interesting part. The kind of place a chivalrous hero would always take his crush on a date.
Did someone say something about breaking brown girls?

... The mixed smells of sweat blood and sperm stagnating in the air assaulted us.

An unconscious woman shifted her body and a white muddy liquid overflowed from between her legs.
With this alone it was easy to imagine what sort of bestiality they went through.
[Selika, you must not look at them ......]

From her accent I could infer where she came from... Several other women were in the room too.
Satia approached with both hands in evidence not to scare the already terrified woman.
I was about to do the same but Satia stopped me with one glare.
It seemed like she was right... The moment she noticed me the girl entered a state of panicked despair and tried to squirm as far away from me as her chains allowed her to.
Most women were restrained with chains or rope but none of them was in any shape to move...
So the only thing I could do was move away from them and look for the key to free them.
As I was looking for it Satia stood up and ordered in a dignified voice.
There was a dazzling flash of light and the summoned spirits flew away.
In the meantime I had found the key and I passed it to Satia without getting close.
Satia opened their manacles and whispered reassuring words in a calm and gentle voice.
The vision of this Satia, calm but firm, was reassuring enough for the girls no to try to run in panic the moment they were freed from chains.For my part I felt proud to know and love her.
I wondered if this strength was something she acquired during her travels or within her nature.
While I thought so a spirit of the wind came back to her.
Satia placed a protective barrier around the girls and we started to walk toward the exit.
The girl was still afraid of me but managed to remain calm this time and begged us.
Girl [Uuh...Uuuhg Please... save ....them... ]
Now, before continuing forward backtrack for something I forgot...
Behind the wall we find several items and some kind of pressure plate.
Now we return to the top of the tower.
Since we pressed the plate, now we can enter the large door...
...and are awarded a Tactical Flute, which buff every stat for every ally when used in a battle.
With this we can face the villain leader.
He is having fun...
Dark Mage [That's a nice voice you got here...Hora, hora...move your waists a bit more.]

Chained and exhausted the women in the room were not able to resist.

Screams pierce the dark night.
When I saw the scene a cold anger overtook me and I grasped my sword.
Dark Mage [ It seems a mouse has managed to enter, who the hell are you?]
Dark Mage [Hoo? A person from Macl? I praise you for finding this place.]
Dark Mage [Anything in the Cabaki region is mine... Mine alone! Me! Seno Padiria!]
... Is this asshole the one we've been trying to rescue?
We are going to deal with 2 waves of enemies, so I will use some area attacks and some buff, like the Tactical Flute.
Selika's attack kills half of them. Meanwhile the mares have applied a number of status effect to us, like acid, so I have Satia deal with the effects.
fter killing the first wave we face the Dark Mage.
I'm shot n Mp and TP so I won't hold back with items. Satia uses a number of magic cards to deal damage.
And Selika focuses his techniques on the mage.
With our last card Satia takes him out, and his remaining man deserts him.
The dark mage who named himself Seno took one last blow and fell to his knees, groaning.
He had the appearance of a priest of Valhad but didn't fight like one.I pointed my sword at him
Dark Mage [Kuh! Are you blind or something? I am one of the great priests of Valhad.]
Valhad is a God of storm and light and cannot grant powers of darkness.
Dark Mage [Do I get any sort of reward if I answer?]
I glared at him with cold killing intent.
Dark Mage [Ha! The soldiers of Valhad are really something!]
Dark Mage [But you somewhat lack brains...]
Dark Mage [Among the guys you just killed there were Seirulans AND Stinrulan together.]
I glanced at the bodies scattered on the ground.
They were all wearing Valhadian armors but some of them were weaker than the other....
Could it be ...
I looked at the faces of the bodies, one by one, but none of them was female. And I had
sent Satia to free the girl in this room before the fight. What was he talking about?.
Dark Mage [Heh! You generous peace seekers make me vomit.]
Dark Mage [I use my powers and strength for myself and I refuse to be called evil by buffoons like you]
Dark Mage [I will kill and rape until you hypocrites are all but a memory! ]
Dark Mage [And if you want to... feel free to hate us! Be it Seirulan or Stinrulan!]
Spheed's angry voice resonated in the room.
The spirit surrounding Spheed swirled around the man and shocked him, not enough to kill though.
Dark Mage [ ...Tch... is that all?]
The man gathered the last of his strength and magical power raised in the air.
We evaded the last spell and the dark mage glared at us with all the grudge he could muster.
At the same moment Spheed sent me a glance.
Was he trying to tell me that he would take care of the rest? Fine...
His face full of contempt for the mage, Spheed approached him
Rage distorted the dark mage's face and Spheed turned toward us.
He was recovering magical power but he shouldn't be in great shape after such a small break.
No, magic was overflowing...did Valhad grant him some of his power and will in response to his desire to help? ... As I was thinking this Spheed turned toward the mage once more.
Dark Mage [Don't screw with me, what can a goon like you promise me?]
Doesn't the man feel the absurd power emanating from Spheed now?
Almost as if an Avatar was standing before us...
Spheed threw his hands before him and fierce magical energies were unleashed
Dark Mage [ Gyaaaaaaaaaaah!]
In the dark and silent ruin, at the hour of the wolf, inhuman screams pierced the night.
The screams resonated for long minutes. The smells of burned flesh filled the air.
And then silence. Silence and darkness.
Now that the deed was done his faith and conviction did not support his powers anymore.
Spheed slumped and I rushed to keep him on his feet.
Sounds of cracking skin emanated from the fuming corpse of the dark mage and I looked at him.
He had provoked our anger until death. As if he wanted to be destroyed.
Spheed glared down at the body of the man calling himself Seno.
The Valhadian robe had been torn apart by my sword now but there was a damage I didn't do
I took out the piece of cloth and approached. The design and the runes matched..
Spheed slowly shook his head. It was true that my diplomatic skills were...
Outside the fort dawn would break in a few minutes.
The envoy from Macl's Temple would arrive soon.
As we were leaving Spheed started to look for survivors among our laying opponents.
Villager [...... Understood.]
The villager lowered his head and ran back toward the village.
She new that too many people had been involved in the case and that whatever the outcome we could not save everyone. I did too but ... Satia's hand grasped mine, she was a bit cold...

Only one location left. We can also access some interesting events. Like a certain festival in Quito Village...

Before going to Drabna forest we are going to do some events with Satia.
First a visit to Liz...
[Yes and this is Satia, she's travelling around and learning cultures for the cult of Nasatia]

Usually he would notice her before she would even do anything but he did not react at all.

Ploughing time.
Everybody smiled and walked with impatient steps toward the same direction.
[I wonder if... oh I see, so the festival is today.]
