Yup, this puppy packs quite a punch at middle range. I think you can pump even up to 80 damage with one burst if you're lucky. In the later parts of the game, almost all nazis will be armed with those iirc.

And I don't think I presented our other guns this way before, so why not do it now?

Once they are all dead, we take their stuff. They dropped 4 mp40 magazines, which is pretty neat, as I shot all mp40 ammo back at the camp.
