Clive is hiding in the hospital in Campecino, and he gives The Brock a silver plated Desert Eagle so that Benicia will know that the team is legit.
The scavenging of boxes in Campecino only turns up a couple of weapons and a magazine. The Brock is happy for a couple of minutes before he reads an article about helmets.
Back to Santa-Maria to rescue a damsel in distress.
Benicia is held in an old hotel, and if she leaves her room hell will break loose.
The Brock uses his charm(read: Gives her the gun) and she accepts his offer to help. He also gives her some equipment to help in the upcoming escape attempt.
This mission can be solved peacefully, but Geroj's recent successes has given him the taste for blood. The Brock covers the escape route while Geroj is stalking the backdoor, hur hur.
Caston spots Benicia and sounds the alarm. She ignores him and pushes past to get to the door where The Brock is primed to welcome any pursuers.
In the midst of the confusion Geroj decides to join the fun, moving from cover with his Scatter gun ready. BAM, one down. BAM, damn, second shot was a miss.
With empty barrels he's forced to retreat, switching to his trusted Glock 22. He needs a moment to let the adrenalin kick taper off, and then goes back for a second serving.
BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, all shots misses the target, that pillar seems to be excellent cover, so it's time to get closer to finish the job.
The noise from Geroj's Glock forces one of the guards out in the open, easy pickings.
Caston is next in line and goes down quickly.
There's a loud bang from inside the hotel, and it looks like someone has fumbled with a grenade. Geroj is convinced they had a suicide pact they would enforce if they ever found themselves facing him in a gun battle. That Glock has made an impact in these parts and he's probably right.
Geroj moves up and tries to shoot through the window but misses and hits the window sill instead.
He tries the door and finds himself face to face with Benicia's father.
: Hip shot - gut shot - headshot!
He pulls back before the guard down the corridor is able to get a shot off.
Geroj's might flushes the guards into the warm embrace of The Brock and Benicia.
The two remaining guards are too afraid to move, so The Brock moves in and finish them both off with his Taurus 650.
What did we get?
The team travels back to Campecino and drops off Benicia. Isn't love grand?
Protip: Remember to empty Benicia's inventory before you let her go, when she returns she'll have nothing.
While we wait for the inevitable break-up, The Brock and Geroj moves on to Puerto Viejo to tie off a few loose ends.
The reward for reuniting Mr Sister and Elliot is rather kewl, some combat headphones that gives a giant boost to hearing. They are turned on and off by RMB clicking and selecting "Turn on/off", and the Kill book has and entry to tell us their status, amongst other things.
It turns out Cyrus Lond is still waiting for his folder, apparently the team had just enough time to make it back to him.
Geroj is convinced that opening a bank-account is a good idea, so he deposits 10 Grand and sets up the tax collection for the Army Base.
Back in Santa-Maria they pull some R&R and while there, BNC, aka Benicia, turns up and joins the team.
R@S Note: When NPC's have to travel to other sectors they travel on foot and it takes a lot of time. The longer they have to travel the longer it takes them to reach their destination.
Isn't it time to update the load-outs and go back to Sagrada to continue the BSM quest-line?
Nope, as always something else turns up.
: It's dark!
: Of course it's dark, it's the middle of the night, chica.
: Don't call me chica, bruto!
: Don't call me bruto , chica!
: Don't call...
: Enough of this! We've got people to kill, so shut your pie-holes and get moving.
Since it's the middle of the night and the moon is behind cloud cover, time to try the stealthy approach.
Geroj switches from the Mossberg 590 to the Remington 870 to increase his range while The Brock fires his silenced HK UMP.
BNC moves back to cover the rear while Geroj moves forward to get into a good position.
The Brock goes scout and tries to suss out the enemy positions while Geroj supports him with grenades and an awesome attitude.
BNC gets company which she handles with a plum. But she's wise enough to know that this is only the first of many, so she prepares to pull back.
The Grenade goes off, killing one Tourist and knocking another one unconscious. The blast disturbs Geroj's aim and he misses his shot.
: I'm hit!
: Don't be such a baby, it's hardly a flesh wound.
Geroj takes a hit in the arm, but that doesn't slow him down and he pays back the compliment with two successive hits.
Time to pull back, regroup and lick the wounds.
BNC takes out her separation anger on the unconscious "Tourist" by kicking him to death. Anger management was never her strong suit.
While Geroj patches up a couple of Tourists comes looking for them, BNC handles one and The Brock the other.
Geroj decides to make a flanking maneuver to mop up any stragglers while The Brock and BNC moves straight for the other entry point.
Two more Tourists comes looking for them but they doesn't stand a chance.
Geroj hooks up with one, and a couple of hip shots sends the Tourist flying through the air.
The final Tourist comes walking up from behind, it was lucky that The Brock remembered to turn on the headphones and heard him before they were spotted. In this war torn country even a shot in the leg can prove to be fatal.
Worst loot ever, but The Brock was getting low on .45ACP rounds for his HK UMP so it wasn't a total waste of time.
Back to Sagrada to deal with Paco the Taco...
The next installment will follow shortly, just need to upload the pics...
