From The Annals Of The Black Company, 223/8 :
The elves are no different from the others, they too want us to solve all their problems. This time it's their prince that needs saving. Astos, the king of the dark elves cursed him to everlasting sleep, a curse we wouldn't mind too much if we got it ourselves, after this long and tiring trip.
Their prince can sleep the big sleep for all we care, but it seems we need to find Astos if we want to get hold of the mystic key, a key that would give us access to a lot of treasures and, who knows, even a way to get back to our own land. As it is, fate played one of her tricks again and we're once more forced into a contract we don't really want. But we will prevail, the company always does.

So this is the best FF evar, huh?
From The Annals Of The Black Company, 223/9 :
We stumble around in the dark without reason. We delude ourselves by thinking that we simply go after the Mystic key and the vast riches it promises, but after all this time we're still where we started. Notions about returning to our own lands, we dare not even speak, as we've found nothing that could even give us the thinnest glimmer of hope.
Instead, we constantly manage to find ourselves entangled in other people's problems. Willing or not, somehow we get drafted to aid them in their causes. A witch that has lost her crystal eye, an elven Prince cursed to eternal slumber, a decadent king seeking to find his crown. Pursuing these quests we've come upon the Marsh Caves, a complex of underground caverns filled with deadly monsters and other, even more sinister perils. Once more we march against impossible odds, but if these Annals have taught us something it's that this is the fate of the Company...

Crooked Bee said:Oh gosh you of little faith. Your call, dawg, but really, in that case I should've abandoned my own FF LP long ago; after all, I always had to bump it to the next page myself. Of course you're a celebrity LPer and all, I understand your frustration, but mang, am I disappoint.
But anywayz,
