:lol::lol::lol:
I had an inkling that Morgan and University shared the continent which I refer to as 'Landmass Prime', and the Hive got the continent with the Garland Crater, but I have not met them yet.
Now that the game is finished, I have pressed the resign button out of curiosity... and realized that it is the other way around, and that I have been invading the wrong continent all along.

One of my cruisers ended its turn 5 tiles away from Morgan Recycling and Morgan ItzFood. Another one passed by 3 tiles away from Morgan Kelpitos without even realizing it!

I have to say, it would have been a surprise to land all those rovers only to meet the Perimeter Defence walls of Hive with hordes of units behind them.

I had plans for a pair of transports with mindworms to be sent that way, though, but 4-8 units is certainly less than 20. However, Miriam bases were only 1 cruiser turn away from that continent, which is much closer that Landmass Prime.

Hordes of units...Hah! I didn't have nearly as much as I should. Pods and worms didn't help me much here. Command Nexus was coming along, but I had no crawlers to rush it. It probably would have been finished by the time you got to me, but it wouldn't have mattered. My isolation left me tech starved. I had probe foils under construction that might have helped but I was way behind.

Hellraiser, what did the Uni have?

:hmmm:

You know what, bros? I have an idea.

I have this tool that allows one to transfer control over certain players to AI and back (if the passwords are known). So...

Outnumbered, forced into a corner, with the world on a brink of complete and utter ITZ. Can Brother Lal prevent the tragedy that destroyed the old Earth?

Might make for a cool Single Player scenario.

Science has failed our World...

The University, turn 64. Not nearly as good as it could have been, in part due to the loss of my original third base (diceroll raped my scout garrison during their psi attack dooming the base to fall).

The rover unleashed a new river dubbed Millenium Falcon Fluminis. I had at least 3 colony pods at this point, they were just inside other bases during transit. I was focusing on expanding into all corners of my part of the continent before pop-booming. Since I had the Virtual World, I would have attempted a Golden Age pop-boom. If only because 80 energy is a lot and with 2 efficiency and Free Market+Wealth, with Morgan as a pact brother, I make enough energy to tech/build faster compared to running Planned, no matter the Psych investment. I already had quite a few talents around and some bases Golden Aging, and I only put 10% into psych (commerce baby). That and we had Environmental Engineering and I had Uranium Flats, massive energy boost. Rush tree farms, get bases to 7, tech more.

I was just building trance squads to fight off any worms (Vermis Vigiles). My Story Enthusiasm resulted in naming all landmarks after notable works of Science Fiction, what else (if Pluto can have Cthuhlu Montes, so can I have Spock Planum).

If Gaians did not snowball so much, I would have probably went west and colonized near the Hive, killing the commies off as soon as Air Power became available. Well back then I did not know the Hive was there (thought it would be Miriam), but whoever would end up there would soon become the next addition on the Vermin list.

Also my single scout patrol is the MVP of the war against Lol-ite Vermin. He singlehandidily murdered 2 peacekeeping defending scouts, a rover and something else surviving all of that to retire to a life of Former escorting. He also took Human(e) Experiment Labs, which is that white enclave inside Kalin's corp-turf. I planned to hand it over to Morgan, as a base without a node and with pesky drones at that location was sub-optimal.

Naming convention would be as follows:

Rivers - starships
Mountains - starship captains
Plains - science fiction scientists
Seas - science fiction planets
Bays - science fiction cities (half of them would probably be from Star Wars or Battelestar Galactica)
