Never wanted to be Redeemer so 1... We're just Shep who makes things done no matter the cost. This is not campaign about member of Eclesiarchy or Spahs Mehrine.

Well, the Redeemer reputation and all that was/is useful to us, but it will only get us so far. We should remain in character, however and make the kind of decisions Schafer would make.

I think in this case, it's not about redeemer or soldier, it's about following Solus who is obviously going full retard or making sure our techpriest doesn't get fried.

I know someone said these are mutants and are disorganized, but what happens if a ton of hullghasts or an even bigger mutant swarms out of the dark recesses of the hold now that we've stirred up the hornet's nest? The death of a tech priest would probably see Kirchner frying Schafer for the kind of blashphemy which gets a tech priest killed.

If the Machine Priests dies, nobody is going out. Shafer and His entire company are not important enough to risk entire ship to Coruphsion or sending more men anytime soon. And Shafer always took mission first and this is fitting him as Strategist. I would send order to LT to hold His position, fix the cables and then scurge and purge teh Khaos Taint.

Even if those mutants were a part of some bigger swarm they still probably won't attack any time soon - it's not how you survive in environments like Black Holds, you don't throw yourself at random fights. And they have nothing to fight for, the atrium where the power couplings are may be their favorite hang out place, but there are nothing of real value to them there. If they really want the kill the invaders, they'll probably set an ambush and wait for the techpriest and his escort to move.
And even if for whatever reason they decided to attack head on, their numerical advantage won't help them in tight spaces of the ship's corridors. For the same reason it won't help us, crowding the place with 4 squads will only lead to friendly fire and confusion.

yes indeed, sorry for the delay, but making a maze puzzle is turning out to be significantly more complex than I had anticipated

Just make a QTE or HP bloat boss monster instead. Todd Howard.

So we could've waited for Flavion to finish, and now we can wait for Flavion to finish.

C&C.

Fake-edit: We have 2 fate points in hand, IIRC.

'Still, I’ve found this armoury nearby and I think it’d be a damn good idea if I went there and…’

:M :M :M

I feel like waiting for Flavion because blowing up the wall will probably achieve nothing more except "you go through the exploded hole... and find yourself in the storage again".

so 2 but can be persuaded otherwise

We should tell Flavion to bring some heavy explosives and a rad cleanser from the armoury so that we may avoid wasting bromethium

I guess 1 would be more redeemer-ish. FUCK THE MAZE LETS BLOW IT ALL UP FUCK CHAOS AND FUCK YOU!!!! etc, but Schalk is kind of right. If we meet one of the tentacle dicks of Slaanesh, we'll have no bromethium to bathe it.
