They have an outdoors gym and a basketball court.
The quality of life for prisoners is higher than the average Alrucan.

We will circle clockwise around the compound, staying outside the fence using Reaper's and Shadow's silenced(using suppressors) VSS Vintorezs.

When some bullets hit the dirt, we hear a guard saying: "what's that?"
After a while...
"Probably nothing."
Small sounds can cause guards to go alert, but they revert to unalert mode if they didn't spot you.
Once fully alerted they will stay alert.

Freed a prisoner named Shank, he joins us.

Shank's marksmanship is at 15, it's mule duty for you Shank.

Dynamo's an expert with assault rifles, and he has the gunslinger trait which gives a big bonus to shooting-from-the-hip.

Gus defuses mines around the prison. Failure to defuse mines may cause an explosion, that is why there are medics close by. His chance of success is high partly because he has very good morale due to Len being in the same squad.
Explosions damage armour, which is why Gus is naked. Some weird meta-gaming here.

Hired Fidel, he is good with machineguns and explosives. I think we have enough mercenaries. There doesn't appear to be a limit like JA2.

Another reader&watcher here.
I appreciate both videos and pics with description. The thing is - there is only few moments (hours) in week that I spend on reading stuff, mostly from web.

Still - your update frequency is outstanding and it's not weaboo crap (as Whiskey mentioned in GOG thread) so keep it up.

Magic and Cougar joins Alpha squad, the snipers they replaced are reassigned to Bravo.

Just south of the Laboratory is a gas station, controlling it increases travelling speed.

Gas Station

Forgot to unpause before taking picture of this lovely tank.
Tanks are immobile but they have a long range cannon, firing on you if you venture into their sight, stealth apparently doesn't work on them.
LAWS outdistance tanks, alternatively you can also use a lot of grenades if you get close.

Attacking the tank gave away our position, soldiers can be heard yelling "there they are!". This is why we find a defensive spot before we attack the tank.

This soldier is stuck running against the tank. Pathfinding isn't that good in this game, people and apparently tanks aren't considered obstacles.

Alpha squad spots some baddies but couldn't shoot due to obstacles, Bravo squad waiting outside has a clear shot on them.

The Gas Station is ours. Lots of mines nearby Gus defuses them and we took some along, might be useful on defense missions when they start throwing higher level soldiers at us.

I managed to make it past Meduna, but I just sort of got bored at that point.

The fun part is the start where you can actually lose. At this stage even with ironman you have all these 20+ mercenaries and too much money even on hard. But it is the same for JA2 where you have max mercenaries, mortars, x-ray devices which remove FOW and regen syringes to heal you.

I remember I stopped upgrading my gear the moment I got Grumm and Alma. You just don't get better stuff from that point onwards, so the game gets really repetitive

Our next objective is Meduna SAM Station south-west of the Gas Station.

We approach from the north. The SAM site is enclosed by a fence.

Got careless and was spotted at the start, enemy soldiers rush us from through holes in the fence.

After killing the wave of troops, we sneak through the fence.

Deidranna's spawned troops will attack this location.
One squad will remain in this location while others move our equipment from Cambria.
A few mercs have some errands to run as well.

Yeah, moving stuff from point A to point B with naked and unarmed character is cool. Especially when you meet something.
But that happen in STALKER games or Fallout NV from my experience.

Yeah, these doll faces... and good riddance guessing who is who. They're made from one head slighty modified, no difference if male of female.
