Tacticular Cancer: We'll have your balls

And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Can't they do both? Both sell through Steam and directly from their own website?

look, if they sold that shit in a box or somewhere else then on steam i would be all over that like Karl X Gustav on Denmark.

Of course, if you have at least a minor amount of decency, you could just buy it on Steam to appreciate the work they have done and then use other means to aquire a non-steam version.

You don't need to be a moralfag to think it's slightly retarded to pirate a potentially decent and interesting indie game because they decide to use distribution channel you don't like. As opposed to, just don't buy it, you know?

Sure, as long as the game itself doesn't require steam to run. Many do for DRM purposes, even if you buy them elsewhere.

    No.

I will torrent it and donate half price of the game to the developers.

They finally have a release date:

No info about pricing and distribution platforms, however, because they had to "sign NDAs".

But they've set up a forum for people to bitch and moan about steam:

Will you guys ever accept that some people want nothing to do with STEAM? Is that concept so hard to grasp?
Intelligent person who cherishes his privacy, does not want bloatware on his system and doesn't want to support shitty DRM schemes: "Will not buy because I don't want Steam on my system."
Gord: "You could buy it on Steam and then crack it, making you a law-breaker. Worst of both worlds." :troll:

You're mixing up the words "amoral" and "retarded" but otherwise I'd agree. Of course, I consider supporting a shitty DRM-scheme amoral too...
If Steam is not a requirement and if I like the demo, then I'll be happy tto throw money at them.

we already have another more recently updated thread for this.

Also, buy it straight from the devs. It'll give you a DRM free installer AND a steam key. Also, your jewgold will be going to the BROs who brought us this gem, not some filthy potato leeches.

Yes, it certainly did. DRM free and indirectly supporting Witcher 3 development - what's not to like?

But I appreciate you signing up just to let me know.
