Let's go with option one. I imagine that being strung out on drugs and lack if sleep won't help us at all, and freeform decisions are almost universally terrible when applied.

Actually, rather then freeform decisions, those are just question. I don't plan much freeform around here (if any) except question.

It still counts, I think. I don't ever recall free-form questions that ended with the voters doing well. There's just a fundamental disconnect in the evaluation of the importance of certain questions between the author and the voter even if the latter are paying close attention.

You have a point. Well, you can't know everything after all. Indeed disconnection exist.

But aren't all of you fans of MAXIMUM FUCK way?

Right! So we should just be well-rested and prepared as possible when we blindly step into harm's way, ignorant of the danger. We'd likely do it anyway if we asked a question, this way we'll be in a better shape for it.

2. You need to get a brief overview of what's up, before you go to bed, you didn't drive your horse this fast, to get here and do nothing. For all we know the man could be dead tomorrow. Just ask the standard questions, your brain shouldn't handle more at the moment. Do a quick tour of the surroundings - to see if it's secure and as should be - and go to bed.

2B. Ask him plainly about the message system. We are curious. We are part of the circle after all.
2C. Ask him where all the people went.

3. Just be polite - for now. The man still needs to give you a place to sleep.

All right, votes closed. Will post results later, but those shouldn't be surprising for anyone.
