I finally got to play this because it's free on PS. I loved JC2, but this game, while improving a few things, isn't just as fun. I much preferred the Asian setting to the frankenstein'ed Mediterranean one, which also feels smaller (maybe in part to the wing suit, which is fun in itself) and less diverse. With the wing suit, there's even less need to use vehicles (which handle atrociously) than with the grappling hook / parachute combo before (even boats and aircraft became redundant). Also no sprint button, but a permanent "jog" - lame.
Some reviewers said they think the story is better written in JC3, but I don't really like the characters and preferred the 3 factions in JC2.
