Starting as a reborn weakling in some monastery, wandering through ancient indian cities and forests, making adepts, fighting demons and finally getting powerful enough to battle the gods. I mean, how awesome would that be?

Just play an JRPG.

Actually, no. I guess I scanned it but didn't make the mental connection. I read the thread title, then remembered about Unrest, but forgot its name and had to use the forum search function to find it. Then, I didn't really pay attention to its name when I did find it and linked it. All told, a rather epic fail on my part.
