I made a Minecraft server with more story than Fallout 3

Well, that's only slightly an exaggeration.

I'm a coder, and I've been hacking on Minecraft a lot. Myr friends and I have spun up a server with NPCs, dialogue, dungeon crawling, and more.

We've spent several weeks making an interesting Lovecraftian story that's consistent, and characters that are flawed and believable. (Like the cuckolded engineers cracking under the pressure to save his civilization).

We have more characters and story than Megaton from Fallout 3. Pretty sure I measured.

Come learn the ways of "Ghasthulhu", now that the stars are aligned...it shall be a quest for survival.

Server: neskimine.dyndns.org

You can come visit the forums to learn more about everything, as well. www.neskimoforums.com

BTW, most of the batch of players is in America or Australia, so it may get sleepy sometimes.

The plot is just starting, everyone is currently stuck in a floating desert with some tough dungeons and few resources. Escaping that will set events forth that may collapse continents...

Thanks, I fixed the forum problem. Well, there *is* a romance...

Not really, it's more of a mess where everyone in a small town is banging each other and it's gnawing at their psyche.

Fantastic job, bros.

The barrier is weakening and we're brining the server down for a few hours.

The next task? Finding civilization.

Congratulations, the desiccated civilization of Thuria has been revealed.

There are 13 NPCs, 38 books, and seedy plot-lines to traverse.

Enjoy!

I can't register on the forums. It gives me a "No anti-bot questiuon answered." error but there isn't a question to be answered. Have you disabled registrations in this way, perchance?
