Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

    I find it annoying that every youtube video I link to gets automatically embedded, even when embedding is inappropriate (as it is in the case of long or numerous videos). Is there a way to not embed stuff? Also I think some option under preferences to turn off auto embedding for good would be helpful (although I'm guessing that's probably not possible).

    Is there an option to replace all embeds with link, or something? Flash/Gnash on Linux is crap and sometimes, if the thread is YouTube-heavy, I can see my memory usage shoot up, even to the point of going into swap.

    I didn't actually know this was automatic. All that time I spent inserting the media tag, wasted.

    But I can't turn it off without making life difficult for people who do waSo those who wish to not embed will have to get creative.

    I found the option to turn off auto-embedding!

    So it has been turned off. You'll have to media tag the shit now if you want to embed it. We'll see how it goes.

    You could Aldo use the click to play function of Chrome, Opera, and soon Firefox. It's actually really good since it stops malware infections, as their code use plug-in exploits, are hidden in a iframe and they are never visible or executed with this function.

    But still no option to disable img tags. I think I'll go protest to XenForo about this. They'll see what I'm made of.
