I am Enjoying this Talk a lot Hiver, but I must say :
This means I am a smart person in your eyes, smart enough for you to implicitly admit it. It is meaningless praise, but I enjoy it anyway.

Not enough "howling". Allow me to rectify that :
What do you, codexer, conclude from this image?

While I appreciate your artistic endeavours as always, I can't help but feel this version has become a bit cluttered. People show up multiple times, more than one shitslurper is being assigned to some of the human 'links' in the human centipede, and 'MetalCraze' is also unneeded, as everyone knows who Skyway is. Also, the text has lost much of its beautiful simplicity.

All in all, though an admirable effort, I would have to say that your versions 2.0 and 1.0 (shown below) were superior works.

I don't know if this howling meets your standards, but I hope that at the very least it will help guide you to even greater heights of artistic achievement.

What I would do is edit the titles.

    It should simply say, "Schadenfreude".

Remove "morons of schadenfreude on the Codex" and remove "Its not shit slurping...". That way, it will look cleaner and less cluttered.

I thought that was intentional, some slurpers being simply assholes instead of people.

Wow. You people somehow managed to make the suicidal teen witch who counts demons and fairies among her BFFs feel sane in comparison.

No, I get why you all hate each other, I just don't get why it demands such long discussions and comprehensive responses over so many threads

I suppose it's a good thing we now have a single thread to store it all in

The typo is either a masterstroke, or one of those times when people strike gold by accident.

The Codex only aspires to reach new heights/depths.

By the way, seeing Whisky's link to Hiver's thread where he explains why he wanted to start a new forum reminded me of something.

RPG Watch's founder was once scolding Admiral Jimbob for not knowing what makes a proper forum. He had this attitude of some sort of web site designer master race who create forums as refuge for the rare group of intelligent people. He was also boasting how he thought Watch had less noise than the Codex. Jimbob simply said Codex is good for those who know what they want to get out of the place, taking what they want and leaving the rest. As it is, Avellone and other developers regularly frequent the Codex, he said. The Watch forum admin then admonished Jimbob, saying that only a web site designer had the credentials to say what forum is good and what forum is bad.

I see that same attitude in Hiver's reasons for founding his own forum - to be a refuge for a rare master race of fantasy literature critics. It's like the same bloodline flows through both the founders of the Watch and the founder of Kingwood Brotherhood.

It's that same kind of narcissism one finds in modders for RPGs, videogame bloggers on YouTube, and that Icycalm/Icelord/whatever asperger's guy.

Hiver's madness is probably caused by some kind of war trauma. His heroic actions in charge of the latrines costed him most of his sanity, therefore all the slurping.

I conclude that I'll always remember you as M4BE1R0.

You were always sane, it was the world that was crazy.

And with such arbitrary rules like not showing hubris, but being free to insult others as you please with no censorship (even though that would fall under hiver's definition of schadenfreude), unless you insult the HBO show's actors cause they have nothing to do with the writing in which case he will ban you and do the best he can to continue punishment in The Real World™. At least Codex is consistent in its pseudo-anarchy. hiver, these inconsistent rules on your forum prevent me from registering in full confidence. Please take this suggestion into consideration when administering the King's Brotherhood. Thank you. :)

I don't have the quote anymore because, enh, hivers antics are amusing for a while but quickly get old. But he is right in his own highly selective sort of way.

I said something in some thread somewhere that made hiver extremely butthurt which is somewhat unremarkable in itself. He then quoted me and changed the contents of the quote to say something along the lines of "I'm a retard that can't string 2 worthy sentences together". Since hiver were the one who wrote that, not me, I changed the quote tag back to hiver and claimed it for my sig. At which point hiver got upset I changed the quote he changed himself.

    Hivers gonna hiv.
