Current Music: 9. Misty Hollows
oohh a blank roadsign. Can I read it? Yes? No?
oh. a BLANK roadsign. It just points the way to the next area, in case we manage to get lost or something
I must say, this is a beautiful forest.
Grace's portrait down in the bottom-left hand corner of the screen is flashing, let's click on it.
Noted, thanks Grace!
Current Music: 6. Finding Our Strength
The 146% under the monster is its current damage reduction. It spikes upwards whenever a given combatant gets hit with an attack, then quickly falls back down to 100%. I should probably stagger my attacks accordingly.
I haven't been showing the tutorial popups until now, but right now I am being proven a lier
whatever i think we can handle a couple of slimes damage multiplier or no
I try having Grace alternate between Flashbang and Smokescreen. Constantly having to click to switch between the two is annoying.
This is what smokescreen looks like:
Not shown: The 30% dodge chance that smokescreen gives to our foes
Strangely enough, the two slimes we are fighting have two different names:
...However, they are still slimes with a different name, so they don't put up a whole lot of a fight even on hard.
Gee, won't it be nice if I didn't have to constantly click to switch between Flashbang and Smokescreen. That is what skill chains are for!
The game has a few simple ones made already. I won't be using the ones the game made, so I delete all of them.
Our skill chain will use smokescreen first, then flashbang, then loop back to smokescreen. It's that simple. You get no specific bonuses for skill chains, but it saves you a lot of clicking.
I think I'll call it "Supression".
Hopefully the game will toss a proper fight at us before the chapter is done. Maybe if we take ten steps to the right we will find one.
Whoa okay this is not the kind of fight I had in mind
