That's the debug dll - switch to a release build and package up MSVCP100.dll (and the others) instead

I don't really have much time to test tonight, but it did run on my PC just fine (I have MSVC2010 installed so had the debug runtimes already).

Annoyingly though alt-tab etc. didn't work, even ctrl+shift+esc -> minimize couldn't get it out of the way, so doing screenshots / let's play is going to prove difficult (maybe others will have more luck?)

Edit: for those who don't want to run a foreign installer or just don't want to uninst/inst at every new version, you can just right click the installer and extract with 7zip in place and it will work just fine (did for me at least)

Fucketh me, the public demo works. I'll wait with eating delicious crow for when I'm finished with the demo, so as not to upset my stomach and miss the experience of a lifetime.

Oy vey! I should have known that free demo agreement license was of suspect origin! A mitzvah, itz!

This is just a preliminary test with the loyal subjects of Codexia. I will correct the license and may host it somewhere else later on today before making an official link on the Golden Era Games website.

Played for 2 minutes, killed a plant. Game bugged when fighting Hummingbird. Great music.

Clicked on Configuration in the main menu, then on Cancel - it froze. Had to kill it from the task manager.

I was sitting in my room drinking coffee when I suddenly heard loud screams in the streets. I glanced out my window and saw a mob at the opposite street flipping over a car and starting a fire in one of the dumpsters. They were yelling something unintelligible at first, but then after a while I could make out what they were yelling: "Grimoire demo has been released!" Well, I quickly made my way into this thread and lo and behold, the prophets of insanity were right!

pressing exit after reading the story froze the game for me. Quick start works however.

    Massive mouselag in windowed mode.

Game froze on me when attempting to enter the crypt or whatever. Also Cleve, I miss the giant clickable movement arrow and would like to have them back. I might even pay.

Saw this on my son's 64 bit W7 version yesterday, believed it was fixed. I am sure you have 64 bit, right? It's something fishy on there when going to release the dialogue window I think.

A couple freezes which had to be resolved with task manager- That said....HOLY SHIT this looks EPIC. I am seriously amazed at the depth I am seeing (potentially)-

This looks like something I could really lose myself in.
