You get a way to store those cars later on, especially with Franklin.

Game was pretty mediocre on Xbox, but I can't resist those graphics and first-person GTA :negative:

I'm sure this was covered during the initial console release, but the city in this game is an eerily accurate recreation of Los Angeles. It's significantly condensed of course, but mirror universe versions of the major neighborhoods are located right where they're supposed to, as are the major surface streets and freeways. Often times you'll be driving along and think to yourself "This really looks like that stretch of Wilshire Blvd near Miracle Mile... oh wow I had lunch at that corner... oh wait no, it's a little different". The level of accurate detail is very impressive: stretches of major streets which are in bad need of road work in real life are... rough and poorly maintained in game. At any rate, GTAV nails the look of LA. It occurs to me I need to see if they have a version of Koreatown, which in real life is a very cool neighborhood which feels like a fusion of Seoul or Tokyo plus 1930s art-deco LA.

Moo?
So I come home from paying bills, getting lunch and generally faffing about to play some sweet sweet GTA. Only it turns out that my shiny new 4k monitor-

-has (much like Trevor) shit the bed.

Fuck my life. I'm communicating this through an old 19" 1280x1024 display that was in storage.

The RMA process has begun (dropped off at the UPS near my house) and I have free time. Hmm, let me look through the rest of Newegg....

What's this?

Well hello baby, where you been all my life? The problem with 4k is having to deal with scaling issues depending on whether you're playing a game, surfing the 'net or working on a project. And the UD590 just didn't have the colors of an IPS panel. This, while not being being true 4k, is close and *is* an IPS panel and huge and without scaling issues. A true win all around. But I'm not paying that price.

Got it for $753 through the warehouse deals, all I had to do was look for one that doesn't note damage to the item just the package. I've been on inspection teams in Amazon; they are some of the most anal people you will ever meet. If they don't mention damage then it's in good shape. Now I play the waiting game. And quietly cry myself to sleep.

But on the 17th it's the Age of GTA

Holy shit, 60GB for one single game! No way I'm going to delete all my porn for this.
And you need 97 GB for unpacking and install.

I only have FF XIII and FFXIII-2, and expecting lightning returns, but these are three games.

Is there anyway to save customized cars? I bought a garage with Franklin, but the 2 cars i parked there are gone.

You can get them back from the car impound, provided you haven't nabbed too many cars inbetween (it'll only store your last two, and then oldest gets overwritten when a third comes).

Bullcrap.
No.

First of all. Those shaders only look good on screenshots. Any ienchancer with all those texture packs is shit when shit starts to move. When you are actually in place that has low amount of light everything becomes overexsposed.
No. And i'm not using any texture mods. R00fles.

It actually looks worse on screenshots, because they can't show shader based AA.

Secondly framerate. GTA4 on 1.4 patch can be locked to 60 on my i5 and 7970 but it isn't locked whole time. If you improve shadows quality framerate will tank like mother fucker even without 1.7. With enchancer and other ENB game further tanks framerate to low 20 in some places.
On your shitty PC, maybe.

Which GTA version do you use? 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.7.0? No matter what i do, AA is terrible with Icenhancer 3.0.

Is there any way to set the camera to automatically switch between first and third person when you enter and exit a vehicle?
