DON'T. It's a lot worse than Still Life 1, which is OK if you can stomach an adventure game with puzzles for the sake of puzzles, but which has an engaging story, with good atmosphere (Prague) and music.

What you should do is play Post Mortem, the first game in the 'series'.

Which game do you recommend for me to get on GOG Flash sale (when it shows up):
1) Blackguards
2) Expeditions: Conquistador
3) Shadowrun Returns
4) Something completely different

Blackguards if you are a combat-fag and want fantasy, SSR if you want Shadowrun setting, don't expect a too deep game and are leaning a bit towards storyfag. Also it's worth getting for Dragonfall, which is pretty good, imho (but costs extra, obviously).
Never played E:C, but I guess it wins if you are a combat-fag and want historical, underused settings?

Hmm, I think I'm more of a combat-fag so it's between Blackguards and E:C.
Obviously I would like to play all 3 but I'm short on time and money.

Because if in the future you try the game out of sheer boredom, you'll be so disgusted you won't ever give Still Life 1 a chance. And it deserves a chance.

I already own Still Life on GOG. One of these days when I actually play the adventure games I buy (read: never) I'll check it out.

You still seem to get a gift certificate if you click on the game tile. Then again, whom to gift it to. Does anyone not have Torchlight by now?

FUCK wish I hadn't missed Omerta for free. Wanted to try it since it came out.

Also probably would have picked up the first arma game if I had known it was going to disappear forever.

Don't worry too much about it, it isn't very good.
