What's there to be a fan of? It's a historical curiosity, not a serious full-scale game.

Being a historical curiosity and fun to play are not two mutually exclusive attributes (though in this case they might as well be). All I'm saying is that I never liked Akalabeth as a game, though I'd like to think that there were people who played the game back in the day and genuinely enjoyed it, so I'd imagine those very same people to still think of it as a good or at least decent game even today.

Finally! Wow, I had already feared that this would never get a non-Steam release. I loved Space Rangers 1 and Reboot (never played 2 Vanilla), so I am really excited about this.
