When someone is doing that shit 24/7 then something is not alright. They shutdown any discussion about AoD criticism.

I understand that you don't care about this situation because it is in your favor. I would feel the same.

However they are fucking pest for this forum and wherever they go. But who the fuck cares as long as it good for AoD sales.
You really think that when someone reads Goral's posts on the Codex they feel a strong and sudden urge to buy the game?

They shilled on codex, rpgwatch, steam, gog, metacritic, rps and others. It's a nice operation even if you did not ask for it.

There is one occurrence on Steam where Goral managed to direct a person interested in Underrail towards AoD. However I don't have the time to search again now therefore I cannot guarantee for it.

Also one more time: I don't attack AoD and I'm not blaming you for anything.

My issues are with them: trolling each thread pretending that they are honest parties when in fact they have an agenda. It's really frustrating to talk to walls.

Unfortunately I have to expose two worms which are infesting this forum.

The shills are: Goral and Lurker King

Proof: link
Shills? Infecting?

Goral joined the Codex in 2008, long before we released anything. He joined our forums 5 years later. Lurker King joined the Codex 8 months prior to discovering AoD and joining our forums. If you want to blame someone, blame the Codex.

Now, I don't blame Vault Dweller for using idiots in order to advertise his game. To be honest, I would do the same thing.
I'm not using anyone to advertise the game mainly because it's a retarded way to advertise. I've never asked Goral or LK to post anything.

3) Goral is advertising himself as DR tester (aka Dungeon Rats tester) therefore his opinion on the game cannot be subjective. His relation with IronTower must be completely disclosed.
Are you fucking insane? Guess who else "advertises" himself as DR tester?

http://www.irontowerstudio.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1573
Darth Roxor himself? Was the guy who wrote two favorable reviews on ITS payroll all along? How scandalous!

DR tester is a group created for people we invited to take a look at the game mechanics before it was released. We invited Goral not because he posts a lot about the game but because he is very familiar with the mechanics and difficulty. We've also invited Eyestabber, because he beat AoD ironman-style.

4) They wrote AoD reviews or comments on gog, steam, metacritic, rps, rpgwatch and the codex. This is real dedication to their cause.
Simply unheard of. Never before have I seen people liking a game so much that they post about it on different forums. Once I've even caught some guys from the Codex posting about AoD on Obsidian forums. You may want to track them down too.

This is going to be a meaningless sub-pop-culture reference to pretty much anyone with a life. But does Eyestabber wear a purple shirt?

By this token, 95% of people on the Codex have an agenda. WL2 and PoE are but two most recent examples of polarizing games that caused butthurt, indigestion, and topic derails.

Not just the Codex even, you get fanboys everywhere.

fanboys ≠ shills

I have much lower post count than you. On Iron Tower it's 0.180 per day, on RPG Codex it's 0.37523 (considering I've started posting more since 2012 it would be closer to 0.7). On Steam it's even lower, I have very few posts there which span from 2014 or 2015 to late 2016.
On the other hand you have 1.7836 per day on the Codex (and considering that you've been also posting more in the last 5 years it would be even higher).

lol
You're shitposting about Age of Decadence and then are butthurt when someone calls on your bullshit.
Compare: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...2016-goty-results.113518/page-30#post-4961669 (actual arguments with examples)
with:
http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...2016-goty-results.113518/page-31#post-4961725 (no arguments, just shitposting)

and a bonus: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...2016-goty-results.113518/page-32#post-4961867

You need a safe space tag, clearly you don't have skin thick enough for Codex that you need to ask for bans of users who annoy you (and won't use ignore function).

"shill" implies a certain level of mercenary insincerity. I think goral and lk are True Believers

fanboys ≠ shills
Whenever a Fanboy spots another Fanboy Fanboying about a game that is not the game they Fanboy about, he automatically thinks the other Fanboy is a shill.

By the way, the most difficult thing about this post was keeping the use of the term Fanboyto a minimum.

Only if they suffer from the same form of autism.

I think toro, in his own way, is simply concerned you'll develop yourself a Roguey problem, whereby otherwise reasonable consumers of your product will begin to loathe you by proxy.

Such that one day, very soon, someone will find a picture of you online and just meme you all up.

Now I understand why so many people were so upset about the pools. They wanted to start spamming Age of Decadence #1 RPG Codex RPG everywhere, and now they can't. Sad!

Wow, it's Aodgate!

:bunkertime:

Now I'm not a fan of either AoD or UR but I must admit this is one quality thread. The Codex never fails to amuse.
