Yeah, in the notes he did state he fixed the turning problem. THAT would be a rather nasty thing to not have working.

During my testing, my two clerics were reduced to being able to sometimes bash things and heal people. Their specialty in undead turning was completely wasted. After a while, I quit trying.

Gathered up some quests and poking around the Cemetery before heading into the dungeon. The Mistress gives Platinum to get started. The pre-made party suites me just fine.

Yeah, I was too chicken to head to the Cemetery. I should probably do that now. I have most of the Dungeon cleared.

GBC seems to be working well enough with it. I wanted to use it for the maps but it seems the author has spoilers in the map notes.

Is it safe to say that entering a map from the west will place you on the east side of the adjacent map at the same Y coordinates?

I have been playing some more Neverwhere, now in the fairly content dense dungeon.

Came across a dead wolf with a sword in its back, probably left there to undo some curse....

Yeah, I give this guy a salute to the dungeon design and encounter design for that first level. Good stuff, for a FRUA module. :salute:

This took him (on and off 15 years to do), I hope he does try another.

Yeah the encounters were well done and I like the art a lot.

How far in are you? It's going to take me more than 7-10 hours due to learning the ropes with grid cartographer. GBC doesn't like this module too much.

I'm at the point where the party is uh, dropped to the 3rd(?) level. Of course work has suddenly been really busy and I haven't had time to play further. :/

What about the level limits for non-humans in The Realm? I see that the author has expanded single and multi class selection, but (for example) how many levels of their new cleric class can they get? I'm not looking to get my party to level 40 (like in my Pool2Pools playthrough), but I still want them all to grow and advance together at an even pace.

It might be a bit premature seeing I just starting to install gold box games to play right now, but does anybody have a nice little archive containing goldbox/frua modules collection? I thought I downloaded it somewhere a long time ago but I think I misplaced the file somewhere.

I've never played a GoldBox title in my live but now I want to make up for that. I installed FRUA and UAShell, everything works correctly. Activated Game 05 - B6 The Veiled Society but I reached the conclusion that I just don't have the time anymore to draw maps and invest so much time in a game (yeah, I know I am definitely not a hardcore player) but I want to get into these titles. Tried the GoldBox Companion with its Automap feature but I guess it doesn't work for UAShell hacked games?

GBC doesn't like this module too much.
Seeing Doctor Sbaitso, it seems I am right?

Is there a way that this can be fixed? Here is a screenshot:

And I guess 1st level Mage with 1 HP is not a good idea?

I was thinking that the city streets should look cleaner. Something like this:

GBC worked fine for character data but the maps weren't working properly. After some time messing about mapping 1.5 floors I decided to grab Grid Cartographer. Well worth the cash if you plan to play multiple games which require manual mapping.

Other modules work fine.
