I'll summarize. It's another attempt at a "UO spiritual successor" sandbox MMO. What's piqued my interest is that they've said multiple times that it's not all about combat. The combat focus of Darkfall and Mortal Online, besides craptacular development issues, is what kept me away from those titles. While EoC will have it, the producer has stated that the game is being designed to allow those who choose not to make the whole of their gameplay experience to be combat to still have a satisfying experience.

PR speak, obviously, and very, very early so we're talking about a game that may never see the light of day, or may turn out vastly different than described. Still, their pitch hits the right buttons for me, so I'm thinking about tossing a little something their way.

Yeah, looks very promising. Very enthusiastic and ambitious indie team.

Zenimax Online should have hired these guys and let them loose on TES rather than focusing on delivering another WoW clone turd.

Could have made the exact same kickstarter years ago(if that existed) on shadowbane , darkfall, mortal online.None of them succeeded, and no where near close their goals. Amateurism, collossal bugs, and finally not even 1% of the interactivity and possibilities of ultima online .Some of the sandbox projects were even complete scam.. what was the name of that game promising the moon again.
I have nothing against the guy, but well he has an engine thats all,25k$ , thats not even the budget of very first mmos. That will never happen.
