PS: If I had the choice between playing Risen series and Fallout 4, I'd probably play DeusEx for the 90th time.

Risen 1 is good, even with its shortcomings.

First part of the game is decent-ish,second part has to be the worst thing I have played since Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader,when you finish the Barcelona section and suddenly hordes of copy pasted trash mobs every 5 meter.That killed every ounce of sympathy I had for Risen 1,just awful.

Agreed, although I'd say it's only the last 25% of the game that suffers from this, the rest varies from decent to p. good.

Judging by early videos and interviews i have very high hopes that ELEX will be good.

I dont get why not. It was an actually really good gameplay mechanic because it added alternative outcomes of combat situations and how to deal with your victory/how enemies dealt with you when you were defeated.

Its just plain retarded to completely shit on this selfmade feature that both worked well and added to the uniques of their games. But well, thats modern age PB i guess...

looks alot more polished than those E3 demos. the attacks seems to have more weight to it.

still janky as fuck though. the animation looks exactly like gothic

To be honest, I never saw a swimming animation there as I play those games from the 1st person view.
