Peter Molyneux, who designed the original 1997 Dungeon Keeper game, said he too was shocked when he saw the time it would take to dig out some sections of the map.
"I felt myself turning round saying, 'What? This is ridiculous. I just want to make a dungeon. I don't want to schedule it on my alarm clock for six days to come back for a block to be chipped,'" he told the BBC.
What? You can tap the screen to dig faster. To be fair to Petey M, he would have let you tap the screen to dig faster.
Because he doesn't have any of his old IPs, because he sold his first company to EA and let them ruin it and then sold his second company to Microsoft and let them ruin it.Nah, to be fair to Peter Molyneux he's never used one of his old games to cash in. The guy might not be able to make good games anymore, but he's not looking to cheat people.
Ah, yes, like that time he released a game with no gameplay and a 50.000$ DLC.Nah, to be fair to Peter Molyneux he's never used one of his old games to cash in. The guy might not be able to make good games anymore, but he's not looking to cheat people.

It probably cost fuck-all to develop so I'm sure they'll make a profit.Inb4 EA reports profit of hundreds of millions from this.
They're not aiming these games at people who care or probably even are aware of the EA brand so I don't think so. Nobody sane thinks highly of EA these days anyway. Who's still not convinced that EA puts out shit won't suddenly see the light because of this abomination. Business as usual, basically. It probably cost fuck-all to develop so I'm sure they'll make a profit.Inb4 EA reports profit of hundreds of millions from this.
The damage to the already tarnished EA brand is probably going to be more costly in the long run, though.
Yet here we are, talking about how awful the game is and how much EA sucks, even though neither of us is going to play it. EA said they want to improve their reputation, but this fiasco certainly isn't going to make that any easier. That 4th golden poo is looking pretty safe by now. They're not aiming these games at people who care or probably even are aware of the EA brand so I don't think so.
