Part XLIV: Berandas
DraQ returns to Gnisis. Aside from Berandas, there was also a Dwemer ruin to scout in the eggmine.
In the Gnisis eggmine is now indeed a new passage to Bethamez.
The plans are on the table.
I really need to find someone who can translate all this gibberish.
Now, off to Berandas then.
The bottom level of Berandas is filled with powerful Daedra.
There should be a cave complex underground according to that scout.
DraQ makes his way underground.
There's a skeleton in the underground pinned to a rock with a Daedric spear.
Got one of those at home already.
At the very bottom there is a corpse surrounded by winged twilights.
Hmm... just like in Lalatia's prophecy.
On the dead hero are the Boots of the Apostle.
Pity I can't walk in the boots of Tiber Septim.
Levitating up, DraQ encounters another "divine avatar".
Well, this is sure going to interest Lalatia...
To the east of Berandas are two Daedric ruins worth checking out.
Not far from the Daedric ruin straight east of Berandas is a random merchant.
Banal. Shit. Boring.
Very close is also a strange hideout called Mamaea, Sanctum of Awakening.
Sounds like more cult shit.
Naked Dunmer morans and Elephant men. Fuck yeah.
In the cult shrine DraQ finds a Daedric Face of Inspiration.
Looks very rare, but I can't wear it anyway.
Elsewhere, there is a very ugly creature called Ash Vampire.
Wtf are you? At least you carry a good ring.
6th house amulet again? Hmm....
The Daedric ruin close to Mamaea is a fairly unimportant Malacath shrine.
But... there is a skill book.
2920, Sun's Dawn
Slightly to the north east is an ancestral tomb called Salothan Ancestral Tomb.
However, there is nothing interesting aside.
The Daedric ruin north east of Berandas is called Maelkashishi.
Inside, there is a rare Orc cultist that is not hostile.
Sorry, toots, can't help you. I'm only here for your lewt.
One of the cultists here carries a Glass war axe.
There is also another skill book around.
A Hypothetical Treachery
It's however possible to levitate up through the roof of the main shrine and find a hidden area.
Levitating up in the next area, DraQ finds Daedric arrows embedded in a pillar, which leads to its source: a Daedric longbow next to a corpse.
Wait... is there a Daedric crossbow too?
