From what I recall the last time I was involved in a game like that, the idea was to somehow design the most perversely awful god possible that used all the points, so that everyone was equally sabotaged.

Nah, we actually gave each other tips and explanations on strategy and general idea behind the design. Simply making awful Pretenders is easy and not interesting at all. Methinks.

We didn't sabotage each other, just created a perverted gameplay. Nobody cared about winning or losing, it was just fun to overcome the butthurt. Khlysty under D9B9 bless are fucking worthless, btw. Do not recommend.

I have won every fight i have gotten into, but the issue is i am out of land and there for money making it hard to for me to stop the army's in my land.

I wasted to long by not getting a few smal recap armys out there. I can still win the next fight, but after that i am out of troops.

Yeah, but the interesting thing about sabotage games where you attempt to sabotage the pretender, but must spend all the points, is that you really get to see how well the options balance against each other, since it's basically reverse-powergaming, trying to create the most useless possible god that uses all the points...and then trying to actually USE this result. Unlike trying to find the most overpowered options that give the most bang for buck, you find the WORST options, and developers are probably interested in that, too.

Incidentally, there were an awful lot of Manticores as a result. Do Manticores still suck? Some people tried the no-magic manticore, but with so many points not used on magic, they actually had some pretty mean scales.
