No doubt. I would suck your dick Black if it would make you a more interesting poster

Essentially by being a whole bunch of fun and laughs I suppose. Never was told why and never asked. I agree with it because I think my posts are the wittiest thing on this shitty site and I spend half my time re-reading what I write (the last one on the jerking off thread had such a grand finale, makes me hit the walls all the time)

On topic again, I'm glad that Larian released D:OSEE on a native 64bit binary - the performance is way better that way. It's about time, really.

The game is so light now, solid all around.

Yes, even going in, alt-tabbing and going in again is quick and stable.

Hopefully the writing in DOS2 isnt as shit. With any luck, they will throw a ton of cash at MCA and make him the narrative lead.

Seriously, don't even bother with any game from Larian if you think that their writting is *that* shitty. It will always be that way, it's their style.

I wouldn't say it's 'their style' much as it's pretty much the 'style' of the only writer that they had on the team for the most part. D:OS 2 has introduced new writers, so we're definitely going to get some different narrative flow.

I don't think it's *that* shity. I backed D:OS2 ;)

Well, I was talking about Shevek's post. But since I didn't quote him, I guess it's my fault.

Good point, this escaped my mind. So maybe there's hope for those people who hated Divinity's story?

I kinda like it tho. I hope that it doesn't change too much.

I really enjoyed the writing in Dragon Commander and Divinity 2: DKS. D:OS dropped the ball on that (probably because it only had one person writing it and that person wasn't MCA), but it still had some great moments (like the rat dialogue and some others) and I liked the overall goofy tone. It reminded me of oldschool RPGs before they got too serious about themselves.

He was amazing. I don't think Larian will find someone as good as him for their next games, what a pity. And he was young, too. 53, I think?

I'm 40 hours in the EE right now, liking it a lot so far. I guess I will later replay the other Divinity games (even Beyond Divinity) just to homage him.

Divinity: Truly Enhanced Edition

Random but I just found a post I had made on Larian forums way back in 2006 geeking out for Kirill before Divinity 2 even came out. RIP :salute:

If they can use nearly all of his personal works, then they still can make DOS:2 with his music. His Brugge, Top of the Mountain, Romantic on the Road, and even Dragon Commander offers enough stuff for a sequel. Now i have to drink a Vodka and raise a toast to him..
