I think that we successfully got a few people to actually hate RPGWatch today. A victory on every battlefront.

Oh, definitely.

I couldn't see the Twitch feed while playing so what were the comments? Anyone have them archived?
Just checked and apparently they're not archived unless someone used the ReChat plugin, which is a shame. It was glorious. By the time you were crushing the guy for the 5th time they were asking Larian to ban us and making excuses for the whole thing.

Besides, I was too distracted by HiddenX's choice of a Stunt Car Racer poster for his wall. Now I'm wondering if the Watch has a racing subforum.

The one thing that disappointed me most about this whole experience was no one said anything about all my gorgeous cRPGs displayed behind me during the stream..... :negative:

Someone said something chat about it being a porn collection...:troll:

The thing is, we from the codex knew about your collection, but one could hardly identify the games in the shlves. And we, or at least me, were watching the match.

As I stated in the other thread... I actually won the two practice games as well so it's really 5-0. :smug:

Did any of you truly doubt me....? I don't just collect & archive these cRPG masterpieces.... I play them. :obviously:
infinitron did
The Watch is blaming its slaughter on bad luck. Tsk tsk tsk :M

Told infinitron not to worry. :smug:

If it counts, I was trying to pick out the titles, while simultaneously glancing at my own shelf in disappointment.

Great showing today!

And then they'll let pibbur who take over his Codex account, and we'll be none the wiser.

Yeah - a great collection - I put some of my favorite games (Planescape Torment, Betrayal at Krondor, Wizardry Archives, Albion, Might&Magic 7, D:OS 1, Gothic 1) on display too and I still owe you a picture after the session with my top-hat on :) that was not recorded.
(the top-hat is unfortunately not compatible with my headset) :

-> the Green Day poster was a bit of trolling for Larian: Online-Undead-Romance-Simulator ;)
-> Stunt Car Racer poster (Original from '89) - not visible in this picture: "Race between Watch & Codex"

I complimented them twice in the twitch chat. But the picture-in-picture was too low-res to make out most of the titles. The ones I did identify were mostly from the color compositions.

I couldn't see the Twitch feed while playing so what were the comments? Anyone have them archived?

Mostly just a lot of "Codex! Codex! Codex!" and cheap jabs at your tasteful rape grenades. The watchwitzers were being super salty and going "HiddenX is letting you win!" and "The RNG is favouring the Codex!"

By the way, what was up with the pathfinding? It seemed very common when you moved around that your character would go somewhere, than take 1-2 steps back again.

I watched the Twitch recording and saw that as well. The time at the end when my woman fighter got "stuck" on the oil the animation was smooth for me when playing but when watching the recording she jerked back and forth and continued the walking animation after getting stuck. I saw none of that as I was playing.

They hacked together that spectactor mode in a day. Wouldn't surprise me if there were all sorts of synchronization bugs.

They should have connected as a third regular player (game is supposed to support at least 4) perched on a platform above the arena and passed when it's their turn. Bonus points if Swens player was dressed like Caesar

mindx2, I was thinking... your main objective by volunteering was just to get that interview, wasn't it?
