I think I'm going to check this one out. Spells looked nice in the mage trailer and what more can you expect of a hack and slash game...

I'd rather play Diablo 3 on Xbox PS VITA than SWTOR on PC.

Downloading now. I don't expect much because I didn't care for Diablo 2. Diablo 1 was pretty awesome but from the screenshots I have seen it looks like it was WoWized and hence will lose the gothic atmosphere.

And what is with this Age Verification stuff? Nothing looks any more violent than what you would see in WoW and StarCraft.

Edit 2: Holy shit, this game take 15 Gigs of hard drive space? There better be hundreds of different enemies.

Okay, maybe the installer was just being retarded when it said that.

I remember a time when I would be excited about getting to play an open beta/demo.

That's the maximum size, you only need to download 2,9GB or so before you can start playing (I guess it'll stream the additional data required on the fly, like that wow trial thingy).

Didn't they say that PvP won't be included until much later?

    PvP in 1.1 patch.

I was in the beta. This is about half of the first act. Don't expect a challenge, but it's a good way to decide which class you will want to play when the game launches.

I remember Diablo. You click on monsters. It was quite addicting.
Might as well try this one out.

Too bad the music in this one will probably be all orchestral and massive sounding, and not at all "minimalistic" like in D2. That's what made it sound so evil.

Well, I can't even install it. The initial "updating files" goes to around 60% and never goes on. I see hundreds of other posts with this problem and no fixes seem to work.

That Caves Theme is so perfect. When the guitar riffs hit, it sounds like raw experimental Black Metal or some shit.
I just listened to some D3 music on Youtube, and it sounds like ass compared.

If the title music is any indication, it's quite orchestral and bombastic. Music from the other Diablo games was nice and understated, underligning the action but never being intrusive. This one isn't bad but it's not as effective. I'll see how it is in the game proper.

Unless I hear absolutely phenomenal reviews, outside the usual "10/10 GOTY THIS MONTH" rags, I'm not even interested in playing this for free. From what I've heard, this game is about as much Diablo as Fallout III is Fallout. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the Korean MMO-inspired armor sets I've seen don't leave me with much faith.

Downloading. I was very unimpressed by the videos I've seen, but hell, if I get to try the game for free I figure why not. Too many times I think a game is bad, but still end up buying it because "maybe I'm not seeing something" only for it to, yes, actually be shit.
